VMTW Ghatkesar: Admission, Courses, Fees, Placements

VMTW was started in 2008 by Vignan Group and is located at Ghatkesar, Telangana offering quality education to women only. This is a women only college affiliated to the Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Hyderabad offering technical education. Occupying a 5-acre piece of land, V MTech W IT provides undergraduate and post graduate courses in engineering and technology. It currently has a total enrollment of 972 students and a faculty of 119 teachers which guarantee individual approach. VMTW has permission from the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) which testifies its standards of learning.

The institute has all the necessary facilities to enhance learning with enabling infrastructure in the classrooms. Amenities at the campus include well equipped Laboratory such as Electronics and Communications Laboratory Control Systems and Simulation Laboratory. A modern library and IT infrastructure have modern and efficient systems of storing knowledge, and the centre has high-speed internet of 120 Mbps. For comprehensive development of the employees, the company provides facilities for sports and even a gym in VMTW. The college cafeteria offers different meals in vast area so that students may feel comfortable to eat there. A 250-seater proctor enables the organization of numerous occasions, including seminars to enhance thestadt campus life. It also provides health services for students by having a health centre with an attendant who is a doctor.

VMTW provides ten courses of 2 levels of degrees. Currently the institute offers 6 undergraduate B.Tech programs and 4 post graduate M.Tech programs, all being only full time programs. Offered B.Tech specializations cover a broad range of modern disciplines including Computer Science and Engineering, Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning, Information Technology, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Data Science and Artificial Intelligence & Data Science. In post graduate level Master of Technology is offered in specialties such as Embedded Systems, Software Engineering, VLSI design, Artificial Intelligence and Data Science. The set quota for the approval of these programmes is 582, which is the institute’s ability to produce a good number of engineer and technologist in the making.

Most of the admissions at VMTW occur through merit categories with the Telangana State Engineering Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test (TS EAMCET) for under graduate programs. For postgraduate admission, the institute admits the candidates who have passed TS PGECET an entrance examination for admission into part time/post graduate engineering courses offered in the institutions in the Telangana state. The Counseling of the admissions to B.Tech is conducted through TS EAMCET, which provides a fair chance for selection.
