Admission procedure of the institute is very simple and generally in line with the standard procedure of polytechnic institutions of Karnataka. 2. Diploma in Computer Science and Engineering: This course trains students in software development and IT-related activities. Candidates with a strong mathematical background and a keen interest in computer science are best suited for this course.

3. Diploma in Electrical and Electronics Engineering: This course includes both electrical systems and electronic components. Admission is given to those students who have shown aptitude in physics and mathematics.

4. Diploma in Electronics and Communication Engineering: This is a course involving electronic systems and communication technologies. A student with a keen interest in electronics and good analytical skills is considered for the course.

5. Diploma in Information Science and Technology: This program involves information systems and data management. The admission of the candidate depends on his or her academic performance and analytical abilities.

6. Diploma in Mechanical Engineering: This course is related to designing and manufacturing mechanical systems. Students who are good at problem-solving skills and interested in mechanics are ideal candidates.

7. Diploma in Mining Engineering: This program focuses on mineral extraction and processing. Students who have a liking toward geology and possess good mathematical skills are enrolled.

For all these courses, the institute considers the academic performance of the candidate in the 10th standard with a special emphasis on Mathematics and Science subjects. Although no cutoff marks are given, candidates with high scores in these subjects stand a good chance of admission.
