Vijayanjali Institute of Technology (VIT) was set up in the year 2009 and is one of the premier engineering colleges of Khantapada, Balasore in Odisha. This affiliated college, located across a campus area of 10 acres, provides different courses in engineering for techno savvy students. The VIT Balasore is an AICTE approved technical university to provide quality technical education. The total intake of a student per year is 586 and faculty of 52 that makes a proper environment for the aspiring engineers at the institute. As of now, VIT Balasore has four four-years-full time B.Tech programmes for students. Such programmes are Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering. For these courses, departments have been granted a total of 300 students per year but Mechanical Engineering is the largest department admitted 120 students per year. This diverse list of programmes enable the student to select a field that they need to pursue in future.
