Vijyashree Educational Institute Jabalpur (VEI) was established in 2005 is providing the quality education in the area of teacher education. It is based in Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh and is affiliated to Rani Durgavati Vishwavidyalaya and It has got NAAC accredited ‘C’ grade. It is recognised by National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) and operates four education focused courses. The campus occupies 6.5 acres of the land and now comprises 44 members of the faculty and 322 students in total enrolment. VEI believes in education hence it offers a variety of programmes such as B.Ed, M.Ed, D.El.Ed and B.Sc B.Ed for learners intending to teach at different levels.

Vijyashree Educational Institute intends to offer a wide number of facilities to support the process of students’ learning. The facilities available for use include well-equipped and well organised teaching facilities, books stock with a large variety of books and educational materials, computerised laboratory with high internet connection. As for practical training, VEI provides easy accessibility to laboratories for the provision of practical training. The institute also encourages the all round development of students; for this purpose the institute has an indoor game facilities for sports, outdoor game facilities, gym for the health conscious, an auditorium for cultural programmes also for seminars etc. A cafeteria provides proper and healthy foods, medicals, and other facilities promoting the health of the campus community. Also, VEI offers transport for students from various parts of the city to enhance easier means of transport for students.

Currently the Vijyashree Educational Institute provides a total of four courses which are all regular course on teacher education. These include two undergraduate programmes namely B.Ed and B.Sc B.Ed, one post Graduate programme, M. Ed and one diploma programme D. El. Ed. Currently the approved intake for the institute is two hundred and fifty students for all programmes offered. Although there is no graduation data available for the most recent year, the total enrolment figure of the institute correlates with its intake capacity, which supports the theory of 100% seat fill up.

The minimum eligibility criterion for admission to the programmes offered by Vijyashree Educational Institute includes marks in the qualifying examinations and or entrance test, if any. The institute offers admissions on the bases of a policy formulated by the State Government of Madhya Pradesh and Rani Durgavati Vishwavidyalaya. In case of B.Ed & M.Ed courses, admissions tests usually include scores in test or university selection process. The D.El.Ed programme also has merit based admission policy in line with state government rules and regulation. Admission of the course is consistent with university and state norms for the B.Sc B.Ed integrated programme in science education and teacher training.

It is for this reason; VEI is situated at Jabalpur which makes it easier for students to access the facility from different parts of the region. About 5.5 KM from Jabalpur Railway Station And 5 KM from Jabalpur Bus Stand the institute enjoys, a good connectivity with transportation network. This stations make it easy for students from the neighbouring areas to comfortably make their way into the campus. For the candidate who wish to travel from other places the institute is 22km from Jabalpur Airport making it easier for students and guests to get to the institute from outside.
