Vinayaka College of Nursing at Nadiad was started in 2013 as a self-financed private institution solely focused on providing nursing education in the state of Gujarat in India. Being a co-educational institution located opposite to the Sardar Patel Bhavan, near to Hindu Anath Ashram, it has been preparing the leaders of healthcare professions for more than ten years. At present, there are 239 students enrolled in the college while the faculty strength is 11, which make the learning environment quite personal. Vinayaka College of Nursing provides three specialized nursing programs: Certified courses in GNM (General Nursing and Midwifery), ANM (Auxiliary Nurse Midwifery), and B.Sc Nursing to fulfill different dimension of the nursing industry.

The college has many resources that are a part of college to improve the students’ learning experience as well as help student academically. A Modern and stocked library put the information in one place with stocks the necessary literature and research work for the students. Many practical experiences within nursing programs are found within college labs so their availability is essential to the development of these skills. Accommodation for any students who need it is provided by boys and girls hostels to enable them to have safe and comfortable places to live. The campus also has an auditorium for occasions and seminars to enhance the academic culture of the campus. They promote the health and spirit within students through athletic activities for the students. The college provides the college community with an ability through a cafeteria to meet their nutritional needs during the day and in cases of illnesses there is a health center with first aid facilities. In order to fulfill the needs of visiting faculty and students’ family members the college offers facilities of guest house and waiting room.

Vinayaka College of Nursing therefore has a concise program that is composed of three full time courses all of which give teaching to nursing. The GNM program take three years, the training geared towards offering General Nurses and Midwives qualification. ANM course is a two year course that trains students to become auxiliary nurses. The college offers a four-year degree program in B. Sc Nursing that allows students a unique understanding of the importance of nursing science. With the total student intake of 239, the college guarantees individual approach and effective learning outcomes for each learner.
