Look every institution is well enough for any type of branch as the as they provide the best faculties in their Institutions and their labs but you have to choose accordingly by visiting the campus and what requirements you want is available they are not selected according to you as every college is well good enough in their ranks and placements but you have to choose well by yourself by visiting the campus.

SGGS is a good college but if you want to get into a better college than SGGS then i would recommend you to join College of Engineering Pune since the college has discipline follwed by decent placements in computer science branch.The college provides about more than 95% of placements in this branch and that too by renowned companies.Infrastructure of COEP is better in terms of well equipped classrooms and modern labs.Moreover Faculties are also good over here.VIIT is obviously much better.

I believe D.Y. Patil College of Engineering Pune, though Private has excellent infrastructure, faculty, research facilities as well as a very strong employer outlook. Based on above data pccoe has lower fees but lower package and Viit has more fees but better package so if you are ready to pay that much fees you should go to VIIT college.

First of all, UPSC preparation cannot be done by choosing a particular college or university. As you are seeking to do engineering, the whole course curriculum will be different. No college as such provides UPSC preparation. Candidates generally prepare for the exam after the commencement of classes in the college. So, UPSC preparation is not a factor for choosing a college.

If we compare the placement of VIIT Pune, and Cummins college, VIIT Pune offers Rs. 4 lakhs per annum median salary package for B.TECH/B.arch candidates while Cummins College offers an average salary package of Rs. 5.5 lakhs per annum. So, Cummins college is better in placements.
