Vivek Colleges of Teacher Education, Bijnor, was established in 2015, having approved from NCTE the new Delhi norms The college focuses on the all-round development of prospective educators and provides quality education for both boys and girls. This affiliated college is based in Bijnor, Uttar Pradesh, and after having been turned into a recognised institution for teacher education by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), it proclaims the quality of its presumptive teachers diligently. Located in different four structures and spread over an area of 0.79 acres, the college is affiliated with Guru Nanak Dev University and has three professional courses in education with a total enrolment capacity of 250 seats. The institute has currently 8 well-experienced faculties and this has helped us to provide adequate faculty ratio in order to guide and enhance the overall academic performance of our students.
The college has developed a variety of facilities that aim at improving the learning environment among the students. A functional library can be equipped with various sources of information, which are very important for further educational processes. This auditorium holds numerous events and seminars; there is always a conducive academic environment. The educational requirements of the twenty-first century have therefore seen the college develop ideal IT facilities such as wireless connectivity. Thus enhancing the overall development of the classroom, sports facilities are provided, and students are allowed to engage in sports activities outside the class work. It also has specialised laboratories for practical learning within the college compound. Medical care of the students is ensured with such facilities as a health centre, which has first aid treatment provisions for students experiencing some ailments; snacks and relaxation are done in a cafeteria.
Vivek Colleges of Teacher Education offers three full-time courses, each spanning two years: specifically the Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) and the Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed.) and Master of Education (M.Ed.). These programmes are aimed at imparting knowledge and skills to the students to make them able to work in the capacity of teachers as well as other educational professionals to be productive in their given roles in life.

The admission should be merit-based, and it should take into account the marks obtained in qualifying examinations and/or in entrance examinations. The selection would be based on policies framed by the state government, UT Administration, and the affiliated university.
M.Ed: The Master of Education (M.Ed) program is available for 50 applicants. The merits of M.Ed admission are determined based on the qualifications and assessment examinations, among other aspects, according to the state's and university's guidelines and UT Administration.
D.El.Ed: The number of seats for this Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) program is 100. The admission for D.El.Ed is also through merit considering the marks in qualifying examination and/ or entrance examination following the policies framed by the government of the state and UT administration.
