The Vivekanand Institute of Management Gulbarga placement cell has the responsibility of conducting workshops, providing counselling, and making the students ready for employment opportunities or for higher education. Well-known experienced persons from different fields are invited to interact with the Vivekanand Institute of Management, Gulbarga students and share their experiences and wisdom. 

The Vivekanand Institute of Management Gulbarga placement cell conducts spoken personality development programs and PG entrance exam guidance workshops as well. Industrial visits are organised every year to get insights into the internal working environment and management practices. The industrial visits provide an opportunity to relate the theory learned to the practical aspects. Students are encouraged to do internship programs. With all these initiatives the placement cell proves its effectiveness.
