Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) is a two-year full-time undergraduate course offered by the University of Jammu, Jammu.

Eligibility Criteria

The candidates who have passed the Bachelor's Degree of Examination in the faculties of Arts, Science, Social Sciences, Commerce and Management (under 10+2+3 or 10+2+2/10+1+3 pattern), and Engineering. Medicine, Agriculture, Veterinary Sciences, Forestry, Music, and Fine Arts from the University of Jammu or any other statutory University in India and have secured at least 45% of the aggregate marks in the qualifying Examination in case of the general category. For SC/ST candidates who are permanent residents of J&K and belong to the area under the jurisdiction of Jammu University, the eligibility will be 40% of the aggregate marks in the qualifying examination.

Admission Details

Admission of the candidate following under various categories shall be made by the Centralized Admission Committee on the dates notified by the university. The admission will be made strictly on merit in respective categories. The college shall be allotted to a candidate during the counseling session by the Admission Committee on merit-cum-choice basis subject to the availability of a seat in that College.
