Vivekananda Degree College, begun in the year 2005, is an affiliated college situated at Kukatpally, Hyderabad, Telangana State. The institution has a variety of academic programmes for bachelor's degrees and master's degrees in different areas of specialisation. The college is located in a 1.03-acre area and at present offers education to 2228 students by a team of 32 committed teachers. Vivekananda Degree College offers 18 choices in eight streams and offers specialisations in commerce, business administration, sciences, arts, and computer application.

This college has several facilities aimed at improving the education of their students that one can think of. The library, as an essential part of the educational process, is equipped with more than 10,000 books and editions in different fields of knowledge; nevertheless, there is an emphasis on computing and biology. For practical purposes, the institution boasted updated functional laboratories/paraphernalia in physics, chemistry, microbiology and biochemistry, biotechnology, and health sciences. The main infrastructure is well developed and qualified computer labs with superior networking configurations are present, coupled with laboratory coordinators who are available to assist the students in their projects. Vivekananda Degree College teaches 18 courses in total, and they are all day programmes. There are programmes from the B.Com, BBA, and B.Sc. with various majors and specialisations: B.A., BCA, M.Com., and M.Sc. Computer Science. The number of seats for each of the programmes has not been mentioned separately, but the total student intake capacity of the college is 2228.
