VMS Institute of Nursing Batala, which was set up in the year 2003 is one of the well known institute providing nursing education in Batala, Punjab. This congenial college affiliated to INC provides the opportunity for the interested candidates to learn the nursing courses in India. The institute is housed in a small plot of 3.4 acres with an overall student strength of two hundred and twenty students and a faculty of twenty. VMS Institute of Nursing is a coeducational institution which offered the equal opportunity to both the male and female candidates. There are four special nursing courses of the institute of which two are degree courses and the other two are diploma courses which cater different categories of nursing students.
