VPM's Ramniklal Z Shah College of Arts, Science and Commerce, commonly known as VPM's RZSC, Mulund East, is one of the premier educational institutions in Mumbai. This affiliated college was started in 2003. The National Assessment and Accreditation Council has awarded accreditation to the college. Spread over a sprawling 0.5-acre campus, VPMS RZSC offers, at present, a diverse range of 10 courses across 5 degree programmes, catering to a total student population of 1,950. Its faculty comprises 35 devoted teachers, thus providing the right type of environment and personal attention that the students need.

The college possesses all types of modern facilities to add to the learning environment of its students. The library, operational from 8.00 a.m. to 5.30 p.m. every day of the year, is the knowledge centre of the institution, with its vast collection of textbooks, reference books, and journals. There are also sports facilities and a well-equipped gymnasium for the sporting and fitness-minded among the students. The infrastructure in IT is very good, catering to course needs in use with relevant technology. An auditorium for events and seminars, and subject-based laboratories providing practical learning experience are available. The college has also provided a cafeteria for refreshments and a health centre with first-aid facilities. An active Alumni Association helps the alumni in keeping their umbilical cord with the institution intact.

VPMS RZSC offers various undergraduate programmes in the Arts, Science, and Commerce streams. The institution offers 10 full-time courses, including the very popular B.Com, B.Sc, BMS, and some niche programmes like B.Sc in Information Technology and Computer Science, BA in Multimedia and Mass Communication, and B.Com in Banking and Insurance.
