VVS College of Education, East Godavari, provides teacher education in Andhra Pradesh. The institution has received National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) recognition and is offering two regular programs in education, namely, Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) and Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed). VVS College of Education's selection process is designed to select the most deserving candidates based on merit.

The college follows a strict merit-based procedure for admissions, taking into account the performance in the qualifying examination and/or entrance examination. Application Process

The VVS College of Education requires following these steps in the application process:

Degree wise Admission Procedure

B.Ed. (Bachelor of Education):

The duration of the B.Ed. course is two years under full-time degree and sanctioned intake of 50 students by the VVS College of Education for the B.Ed. admission process. The admission would be merit-based, depending on performance in the qualifying examination and/or entrance examination. The mode can be in any procedure established as per the policy of the state government and the university. This course prepares the students with knowledge and skills for a fruitful teaching career.

D.El.Ed. (Diploma in Elementary Education):

D. El. Ed. is also a full-time two-year program, and the full intake is 50. D. El. Ed., like B. Ed., enrolls students based on merit considering scores obtained in qualifying examination and/or entrance examination. Moreover, the selection process shall follow the appropriate measures by either the state government or the UT Administration. The diploma aims to prepare students for teaching at the elementary level.
