VVS College Of Education, East Godavari: Admission, Courses, Fees, Placements

VVS College of Education was set up in the year 2007. It is an affiliated college established in East Godavari, Andhra Pradesh. This co-educational institution is spread over an area of 1.7 acres and is meant for the future educators. It has been given approval by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) to be able to operate two full-time education programmes of Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) and Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed). The VVS College of Education trains 40 students under 8 members of faculty, therefore ensuring an intense learning environment among nascent teachers. The college provides several amenities to make students' academic journeys as rewarding as possible.

At the core of the facilities are well-stocked libraries housing almost 3,500 books from textbooks in education and other disciplines to reference materials, in addition to thousands of journals. There is also a reading room in the college.  Therefore, students can study and do research there without distractions. So as to support the practice of learning, VVS College of Education has department-based laboratories with which students can gain practical experience in their chosen subjects. The auditorium hosts extracurricular events on campus. The college also concerns itself with students' physical fitness by offering them, both, a gym and sports facilities.

VVS College of Education is offering only two courses, the B.Ed and D.El.Ed courses that are considered to be for two years' full-time programmes. D.El.Ed has an approved intake of 50 students, while B.Ed also has an approved intake of 50 students, which means 100 seats in total for both. These courses would, therefore, be designed to equip a student with the kind of knowledge and skills needed for a successful career in teaching, providing them with a combination of theory and practice.

The admission procedure at VVS College of Education is strictly merit-based that takes into account marks scored in the qualifying examination and/or entrance examination. In accordance, all applicants who apply for entry to this college shall abide by the admission policies which have been designed by the state government of Andhra Pradesh and those insisted upon by the affiliated university.
