Affiliated college named Vysya College of Education, Salem, started in the year 2007 and is situated in Masinaickenpatti, Ayothiyapattinam, Salem, Tamil Nadu. This college for both boys and girls is recognised by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) and imparts courses in Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.). The college is located on a 5.25-acre campus; currently, it has a total intake capacity of 72 students & 6 faculties. Vysya College of Education is dedicated to offering excellence in teacher education with the aim that learners who enrol themselves in courses will be fit to join this great profession.

This institute provides a number of amenities that need to be utilised by the students for achieving their academic and individual development. The college library is stocked with new books and has opportunities to use the Internet through OPAC (Online Public Access Catalogue). Students will also be privileged to have privileges of membership in the college British Council Library and American Council Library in Chennai. The various laboratory facilities on campus are Physical Science, Biological Science, Mathematics, Computer, Language, and Psychology laboratories, which provide practical sessions. In addition to private and comfortable accommodation for the students, Shriram College offers different hostels for boys and girls, which are facilitated by the solar water heaters, computers with internet connection and games zone.

In fact, Vysya College of Education has only one full-time B.Ed. course for its students to pursue. This two-year programme has an intake capacity of 100 approved seats, which offers ample chances to interested candidates for teacher training. The B.Ed. course focuses on preparing the students to serve the teaching profession with the right information and skills, theoretical principles, and the right practice.

Admission to the Vysya College of Education is done on merit secured by the student in the qualifying examination and/or entrance test as per the directives of the state government and the university. The college also has transport facilities for the day scholars from Attur, Dharmapuri, Harur, Omalur, and Pappirettipatti, by which the students hailing from faraway places will find it easy to commute to college.
