Pharmacy College at West Fort, Thrissur, is the youngest pharmacy college established in 2018, but it has been showing its potential in the field of pharmacy education. Situated in Pottore, MG Kavu, Thrissur, Kerala, this affiliated college is approved from the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI), by which the college provides education in the field of pharmacy. With a plot area of 2.57 acres of land, the college has two streams of pharmacy with an enrolment capacity of total 93 students. West Fort College of Pharmacy is a faculty-driven institution with 26 members possessing a high level of professionalism and caring for nearly 400 students, ensuring an optimal student-faculty ratio that is beyond doubt conducive for professions like pharmacy.
One should also be proud of the fact that the college has a number of outstanding facilities meant for improving the learning process of students. Laying the foundation of its academic setup is a functional and well-equipped laboratory with sophisticated apparatus to provide the students with a touch of practicality with their learning. This is to inform that the library facilitates access to the latest edition textbooks, journals, and digital resources along with comfortable reading sections.
To support current technological advancement, facilities offer free high-speed Wi-Fi service across the whole campus 24/7. The student living accommodation facilities include hostels for male and female students in the camp, staff houses, and a female guest house. The college also has important facilities for the students, such as a sports complex and a clean canteen that serve quality food cooked by professional cooks. An auditorium for events and seminars and good IT facilities add advantage to the easy learning and teaching procedure.
Our college, West Fort College of Pharmacy, at the present time has two full-time courses in the stream of pharmacy. The Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharma) course takes four years, while the Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharma) only takes two years. Each programme has an approved capacity of 60 students, making the total number of students to be enrolled in the two programmes 120 students in the two courses. The above focus helps the institution to maintain high standards in their field of specialisation in education.

West Fort College of Pharmacy strictly follows the Pharmacy Council of India admission policy of merit-based admissions.
