Wingsss College of Aviation Technology, Pune (WCAT) is a college level institute of aviation technology started in 2012. The college lies in Shivane, Pune, and is an institute that boasts of comprehensive theories and hands-on experience in the field of aviation industries. At present, undergoing expansion from the current 2 acres of land, WCAT offers a concentration atmosphere for students wishing to join the field of aviation. The college has a student population of 146 students and 21 well qualified faculties making it easier to favor the student teacher’s ratio for any special attention. The facilities range from well equipped laboratory, accumulator, fitting sections and a full warranted machine shop, carpentering section, welding facilities this is in addition to a full warranted machinery work shop required in aviation technology colleges. WCAT has also located a dispensary for emergencies, cafeteria for balanced diet meals and hostels for male and female distant students. Realising the need for recreation, WCAT provides recreational services such as volleyball, football, cricket for sports lovers and a gym for weight conscious clients. The social computing systems personnel in this college makes sure all the students are acquainted with the modern technological development in the sphere of aviation. The college provides courses in aviation and these courses include degree and diploma. 

WCAT’s curriculum comprises five full-time courses at two degree levels. The B.Sc course offered are Aeronautics with Aircraft Maintenance Engineering and Aeronautics both of which take three years. For the students who cannot afford to undergo long academic journey the college provides one-year diploma programmes such as Cabin Crew and Hospitality Management and Airport Management and Ground Staffing. The premier offering is a three years’ Diploma in Aircraft Maintenance Engineering which aims at producing trained technicians for the aviation sector. The total student intake is 146 which proves the college’s decision to provide learners with an opportunity to attend rather focused classes.
