Women’s Polytechnic Chandernagore is an educational institution dedicated to empowering women by providing them with technical education and skills necessary to excel in various fields of engineering and technology. The institute was established in 1994 by the Government of West Bengal with the aim of promoting gender equality and bridging the gender gap in technical education. 

Women’s Polytechnic Chandernagore offers a wide range of diploma courses including Diploma in Computer Science & Technology, Diploma in Architecture, Diploma in Electronic & Telecommunication Engineering and Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharma). The institute is affiliated with the West Bengal State Council of Technical & Vocational Educational and Skill Development. The polytechnic is approved by the All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE) and Pharmacy Council of India.
