Woodlands College of Nursing, Bishnupur, was established in 2009 to be among the premiere institutes of nursing education working in West Bengal, India. This co-educational college is affiliated with the Indian Nursing Council and imparts specialized training to students in the field of nursing. The compact 4.015-acre campus provides a focused learning environment for aspiring healthcare professionals. With the present enrollment of 48 students, and a faculty strength of 8, Woodlands College of Nursing ensures personalized attention and quality education for every student.

The institution has many facilities to enhance the process of learning and the all-round development of students. A well-equipped health centre with first-aid facilities is available for the well-being of the college community. It serves as an information center by providing access to vast literature on nursing to the students. In order to cope up with modern-day demands of education, the college has equipped itself with adequate IT infrastructure that will help students harness the power of technology in their studies. Sports facilities are also provided to facilitate all-round development by promoting physical fitness and team spirit in students. The institution also has a college auditorium that hosts various events and seminars, making the academic environment lively. Woodlands College of Nursing offers two major programs in nursing: B.Sc. Nursing and General Nursing and Midwifery. Both are full-time four-year courses. The college balances the intake of students in both courses, wherein there are 50 seats in each program and 100 in total for both courses.
