hi,

see cutoff score changes in every year and it depends on certain factors like number of applicants, questions difficulty level, seat matrix, students category etc. however based on previous years closing score analysis you have decent chances in cse stream, however the closing score is liable to change in every year.

the fees structure is as follows,

Tuition Fees –    Rs.217,000

Other Fees –      Rs.93,000

Total Fees –        Rs.310,000

Hey there!

To base this on facts, MIT is known for its engineering courses whereas NMIMS is looked upto for BBA and MBA courses. MIT is an institution for engineering so there's a little bias to it. Although it also depends on what branch you want. If you aren't interested in electronics at all, no point in studying that course so in that case go for NMIMS.

Hello,

Based on your percentile of 88.03 in JEE Mains, your rank is between 1 lakh 31 thousand to 1 lakh 74 thousand.

Based on previous years data here are the cutoff percentiles for MIT Pune in the different streams:

  • Mechanical : Mit-97.99
  • Comp.science: Mit-97.5
  • Entc : Mit-94
  • IT : Mit-93.4

You need to score at least 150 and above in JEE Mains to contest for a seat in MIT. That too, your branch of choice will hold the key to entry. Since 50% weightage is given to state board scores, your scores should be good there as well.

You can check the college predictor tool for colleges that you will get in:

hello there!

as per your query the choice of colleges you have mentioned in your query Manipal University, Jaipur would be the best for you. It is a really good University with good study environment and cool placements.  Manipal University Jaipur will give you a balance between academics and extra curricular. It will give you ample of your personal time to foster yourself into what you want to become(other than Engineer). Manipal whatever it may claim in its brochures and pamphlets, it sucks in Placements and Internships(speaking from my branch I.e. Mechanical Engineering point of view). We have faculty ranging from excellent to mediocre to below average. We have good Research labs and facilities. I promise you can haveTime Of Your Lifeonly if you use it in correct manner and abstain yourself from falling into trap of negative things which is more or less present in all engineering colleges.

Hi Ritu Bhagwat,

Based on  your percentile, Your Predicted All India Rank is in between 4,90,000-5,00,000. As per your rank and previous year cutoff, you will get Maharashtra Institute of Technology,Pune in B.Tech. in Electrical Engineering.

Last year cutoff for Maharashtra Institute of Technology,Pune in B.Tech. in Electrical Engineering is approx 7,00,000.

But you have no chance of getting B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering and B.Tech. in Plastics and Polymer Engineering in Maharashtra Institute of Technology,Pune. Because the closing rank was 4,00,000.

Hello Nikhil,

SRM is good for sure. Because SRM is ranked in the top 10 private engineering universities/institutions, which makes it way better than the MIT, Pune. SRM even have their own all-India level entrance examinations.  MIT has for sure plenty of companies and SRM too is doing good. My suggestion would be, if you are from South then go to MIT and learn diff culture and if you are from North then either is going to be a diff culture.

All the best!!!
