The Xavier Institute of Communications, Mumbai (XIC) is an autonomous mass communication college and a professional media centre that offers a variety of services in training and production in the field of media. It is an autonomous college of the University of Mumbai, Mumbai.
The Xavier Institute of Communications provides post-graduate diplomas in six branches. These branches are Advertising and Marketing Communication (AMC), Event Planning and Experiential Marketing (EPEM), Film Television and Digital Video Production (FTDVP), Journalism and Mass Communication (JMC), Public Relations and Corporate Communication (PRCC) and Advanced Integrated Communication Programs (AICP). The admissions are done on a merit basis after the completion of the XIC entrance test (XET).
The Xavier Institute of Communications has a strategic collaboration with Don Bosco International Media Academy (DBIMA) Paris. The faculty at XIC Mumbai is highly skilled and experienced. The students are given proper training related to the media and mass communication. XIC Mumbai offers admissions in postgraduate diploma courses. The XIC Mumbai admissions are done on a merit basis after the completion of the XIC entrance test (XET). The XET consists of two parts - an online test and a personal interview. The online test comprises two tests - an objective test and a subjective test. The timing of both tests is 60 minutes each. After clearing the online test, the candidates are called for a personal interview.
In addition, applicants must fulfil the prerequisites set forth by XIC Mumbai for the course they intend to take and adhere to the entire admissions procedure.

Cons - Most of the lectures are on the third floor. There is no lift. - The building is really small. So the classes keep shuffling from here to there. - The ACs are too cold and you're not allowed to turn it down. - The canteen food is overpriced and tasteless. - The main college is a bit antagonistic, that can create problems. Pros - The technological facilities are very good and up to date. - Everything is clean
