The college has a library facility for all students. The aim of the Library is to cater to the information needs of our Faculty, Research Scholars, Students, and other Members. It is the heart of the institution and acts as a center for the collection of literature predominantly related to management, labor relations, and its allied subjects. And, intends to develop a comprehensive collection of information that is useful for teaching, research, and learning purposes. To keep pace with the modern developments in the arena of the library, the library has been automated with Liberty from Softlink Asia. XLRI’s library is well-equipped with a vast collection of study and reference material.

Information Technology is unarguably the defining force of this millennium, and XLRI is poised to break new ground as the most e-enabled Business School in India. The initial focus of being system-friendly has now resulted in a virtual flood of e-initiatives. Beginning with the gradation of infrastructure like marching towards the Wi-Fi campus, supplemented by the introduction of new courses, workshops, seminars, live projects, and setting up a Centre for e-Business that aims to facilitate industry-academia interface. Thus enabling the creation of a whole new batch of tech-savvy managers with the skills to integrate technology solutions to the workplace environment has begun. The computing resources at XLRI include the latest servers and workstations, a state-of-the-art campus network, and 500 MBPS raw bandwidth WAN connectivity. There are high-end servers, which host the XLRI web page, Mail and SNTP server, Oracle, Lotus notes, SAS, DB2, and other software.

The college has sports facilities for all students. Sports are taken seriously at XLRI. The fields/courts on campus include Badminton, Basketball, Cricket, Football, Tennis and Volleyball. There is a multi-gymnasium located in the student's hostel. Indoor sports facilities are available in the students’ residences. In addition to the facilities on campus, students at XL have access to swimming pools, tennis courts, squash courts, and a synthetic athletics track through our affiliation with local clubs and other sports associations.

Hostel facilities at XLRI, are provided for students of the residential programs and consist of four hostel blocks with more than 400 rooms in total. Every hostel room has access points linking it to the campus-wide network and the various network resources and services.

XLRI Jamshedpur and XLRI Delhi NCR have successfully achieved 100% placements for the outgoing batch of 2021-23 for its flagship programs Two-year PGDM (BM) and Two-year PGDM (HRM) with all 463 candidates securing offers through the Final Recruitment Process. The Final Placement process was conducted in two stages. The first stage – the Lateral Recruitment Process (LRP) – was conducted over a week in January 2023 where students with prior work experience were interviewed and were offered higher than entry-level positions. The second stage – the Campus Recruitment Process (CRP) – was conducted in a single day in February 2023 where there was no segregation basis of the work experience. The process saw participation from 117 recruiters with 484 domestic offers and 3 international offers, including 30 new recruiters. These also include pre-placement offers (PPOs) which were offered to 43.8% of the batch on the basis of their performance during their Summer Internships. The students from Jamshedpur and Delhi NCR campuses participated in the placement process.
