Congratulations Rohit for a wonderful performance in XAT 2018 exam!!

Rohit you know very well that no one can exactly estimate percentile for any exam relative to marks because it is totally a relative phenomenon which depends both on your performance and other student's performance.

With your overall score of 33.7 according to last year records, you are expected to get around 95+ percentile. And as the cut-off for XLRi Jamshedpur is also 95 percentile so you have a very good chance of appearing in the second round and with an excellent performance crack it.

All the best!!

Hi Ankita! Generally, there is no specific criteria for boards in XLRI or IIMs. However, for IIMs, there is different weightage assigned for different percentage range. That too, has no specification regarding board. So don't worry about that.

Fellow Program in Management or FPM is synonymous to PhD in Management. It is pursued by those who wish to get into the academia line, become professors or academicians in the future rather than working in offices or in corporate institutions.
I believe your aim is to work,  get into the management field, not into the academic line of management. So you can ignore that section. Though, students with graduation can do FPM, however usually they prefer students who have completed PG too.
All the  best!!

The fees structure of XLRI Jamshedpur is

PGDM BM- Around 20,00000

PGDM HRM- Around 20,00000

PGDM GM- Around 18,50,000

Each campus fees structure varies so please explain for which XLRI particular campus you want to know.

If you want to start a career in finance then apply for BM course or Business Management
Fellow Programme in Management is more like a PhD and you can opt for that if you are interested in research
If you think you might like Human Resources then consider applying for the HRM course as well

You have an excellent academic profile which will boost your chances many fold when you appear for the respective examination like CAT and XAT. The university or college of graduation does not matter during the admission process. You will also have an advantage of being a non engineering student and you will get extra marks during your selection process for this.

If you get a good percentile in CAT/XAT/IIFT examination you will get an interview call which you need to clear for selection.

Your chances of your conversion depends on various parameters apart from your CAT scores and academic scores. You need to appear for the WAT and PI process and excel there as well. Hence give your best in CAT and then prepare for interviews and ace it. All the best!

TISS courses are good and HR is also recommended, TISS HR course will make you a thorough HR professional. It is different from a general HR course than in IIM's or XLRI.

TISS is a renowed for HR, curriculum of M.A from TISS is much more better than MBA from any general university. The best part is the Fieldworks are all with leading companies in diverse industries from Conglomerates to FMCG to Financial Services. There is separate summer Internship and an NGO internship as well in the course.

So I will say if you get the chance and admission then go ahead.

Good Luck.

If XAT is held in Kathmandu, you can appear for the exam from that centre. In that case you will be exempted from taking the test. Otherwise you  can take GMAT and apply through that score.

Hi, You can prefer XLRI out of both options mentioned.
