Hey,
Your question seems confusing to me but as far as I understood from your question that you want to know the weightage of 10 and 12th marks in the selection of XLRI.
To be very honest there is no such weightage mentioned any where regarding the selection in XLRI on the basis of your 10th and 12th marks. It's definitely counted in the final selection but mostly XAT percentile and the interview is the deciding factor.
If you have any other query feel free to ask.
Hope that helps.
Thank you.
Hello asarking333

Hello aspirant,
Yes, XLRI considers your past academic performance , as part of the admission process. There is no clear cutoff for class 10th, class 12th or graduation marks. The entire score comprising past academic performance , XAT score, and GDPI scores are taken into account.
As per my knowledge XLRI gives 60% weightage to XAT score and 25% weightage for GD and PI. Remaining 15% is given to work experience, academics, essay writing, video, and other. So you can see that 85% weightage is only for XAT and GD PI. Rest 15 percent is include different parameters. If you do very well in XAT and GD PI then you have fair chance to get admission. You will surely get some points in that 15% too.
Hope this helps you
All the best for your future

Hey,
XLRI doesn't give any weightage to CAT since they conduct their own test called XAT. XAT is any other mba exam somewhat like CAT with two additional sections of decision making and GK, which gives admission in XLRI and may other colleges.
Whereas FMS consider only CAT score to get admission in it. Also you hav to fill a separate form for FMS apart from CAT to apply in their college once the CAT score is out.
Hope this helps.
ELIGIBILITY -
XLRI JAMSHEDPUR: For the 2 years course offered by XLRI as full time PGDM (BM), PGDM (HRM) is that the applicant should have a bachelor's degree of minimum 3 years duration or equivalent. All the applicants should apply for XAT 2019. An applicant who is appearing for final year examination for bachelor's degree and are waiting for results can also apply.
FMS DELHI: Applicants should have minimum 50% in at least three year degree programme in Bachelor's degree and 45% for students belonging to SC/ST/OBC/PWD/CW category. Applicants who are appearing for final year in their Bachelor's degree course can also apply .
If you ask me, both of the colleges are very good and have good alumni network and reputation. However, if asked to choose one, go for XLRI, being the oldest and best MBA college, my choice would be XLRI.
Hello Dear,
YES, it is absolutely possible that you can convert BM XLRI Jamshedpur. Percentile is just one of the many aspects looked for selection. Others also important:
1- Your academics must be very good and consistent.
2- Diverse co-curricular and extracurricular profile
3- Positions of Responsibility:
4- Research Projects and Internships
Your performance in GD and Interview also matters alot.
Good Luck
Hello Dear,
You have not mentioned for which category you have applied in XAT. For General category XAT cut offs for 2021 admission are expected to be around 32.5-33.5 marks for PGDM-BM and 30-31 marks for PGDM-HRM course of XLRI Jamshedpur.
So you can expect XLRI on your this rank. You can also expect your percentile between 90-94 percentile as per the expected cuoff of 2021. The cut off depends upon the number of seats available, the difficulty level of paper and number of candidates writing the examination. And, hence varies every year depending on these factors.
Good Luck
