Hi,

As marks and cutoff are a very relative concept, therefore, it is not possible to accurately predict what percentile you’ll get in the exam. However, as per the updates, this year’s result is expected to be better in comparison to the previous year exams as the difficulty level of XAT ranged between Moderate to Difficult. Therefore, a rough expected percentile for your raw score is expected to be somewhere between 89-90. However, please note that this is not the ultimate result, so please consider this likewise.

Now coming to getting a call from XLRI, since it is a premium Business instituition, it’s cutoff is as high as befits it. This years expected cutoff is expected to be around 95-96 percentile. But there are other good options too like SPJIMR, Mumbai (90+); XIMB, Bhubhaneshwar (92-93); IMT, Ghaziabad (89-90) and the list goes on.

I wish you all the best and I hope this helped you, please feel free to contact me for any query.

Hello,

Congratulations for sucha good score.Seeing the previous trend you may get a call from XLRI for HRM for sure but for BM it may come, not sure because they expect a minimum score of 32,but your sectional cutoff is all clear and you have a work experience maybe you can be shortlisted for BM. Because call from colleges is often unpredictable.

All the best.

Hello,

You have got a very good score, you may get a call from XLRI HRM for sure seeing previous trends if you have decent academic qualifications. And for BM it might be difficult because they expect the total score to be above 32,that is minimum.

You have cleared all the sectional cutoff though.

Good luck.

Heyyy Anirban.....

XAT is considered more difficult than any other MBA entrance exam. You have scored great marks. With the raw score of 40 + , you are definitely going to get the 96 plus percentile and with that you definitely have great option of college's.

Hello Naman,

Since you have given the XAT exam and your score is 38.75, I would like to tell you that there are chances that you might, not sure, but you might get a call, from XLRI.

The chances are slim because the college that you have mentioned above requires a minimum of 90 percentile.

Still, hoping for the best, there is a chance you might get a call.

Hey!

You have a decent profile in terms of your past academic records. So, I would suggest you score as much as possible, rather in short prepare well. As you are from non-engineer background, you have good chances of getting call from IIM-A in 98 percentile. So, prepare well and ace the top IIMs. Best wishes!

Hi Meghna

I'm sure you know that XLRI Xavier School of Management is one of the oldest managements school in India.

In this, every student, faculty member take complete care about the placements every year. Many recruiters have been coming to this college for years now as the students have been performing well and are quite talented. The number of recruitors has only been increasing with years. So, you should give proper attention to your performance as if you're performing well, you will definitely get a job here.

All the best :)

Hey Poonam!

Whether you are taking the CAT, XAT, IIFT or TISS-NET, all the colleges give you time to submit the documents way after clearing the exam. You will be submitting somewhere in October or November. Whereas, you will join XLRI after clearing the exam by June. So, this much time is given to almost all the freshers. So, don't worry. And, being a fresher, I have gone through the same situation. And, I am telling you from my personal experience. Just think about clearing XAT for now, and getting XLRI. Best wishes!

Yes if you have atleast more than 50 percent aggregate marks in graduation then you can surely get provided you meet minimum cutoff marks for XAT and score substantially higher and have given best in GDPI Rounds as well.

Yiur wrok experience can also b ecounted.

Its recommended to give topclass GDPi to get converted.
