Yaduvanshi College of Engineering and Technology, Mahendergarh was established in 2009. It is an affiliated college in Haryana. The college offers various courses in the engineering stream at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels. It has a campus sprawling over 10 acres. YCET is approved by AICTE with an enrolment of 104, YCET has managed to maintain a wholesome student-to-teacher ratio with a faculty strength of 68.

Admission to YCET is majorly based on the Joint Entrance Examination conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education. For the B.Tech program, admissions shall be made on the basis of inter-se merit of JEE Main scores; the candidates with the highest scores shall get preference. Yaduvanshi College of Engineering and Technology (YCET), Mahendergarh, has been offering several undergraduate and graduate engineering programs ever since. The college is AICTE-approved and follows a systematic admission procedure awarding secret merit. The admission cycles in YCET synchronize with those at the national-level engineering entrance exam. The Joint Entrance Examination conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education for admission into B.tech programs is the main criterion for the admission process. The inter-se merit based upon JEE Main scores decides the order of preference amounting in admission for candidates with higher scores.

Regarding impugning your application in M.Tech programs, GATE scores will mostly suffice as the criterion for admissions into YCET. This examination is generally conducted between January to February; the result is reported in March. Yaduvanshi College of Engineering and Technology offers the following B.Tech programs: Candidate must have completed a 10+2 examination qualifying Physics-Chemistry-Mathematics subjects. An M.Tech candidate has to have an appropriate B.E./B.Tech degree equivalent with a good GATE score.

Application Process

For admission in B.Tech:

  1. Success in a JEE Main exam conducted by Central Board of Secondary Education
  2. Visit the official website of YCET for a call for applications.
  3. Fill out the online application form for B.Tech admissions.
  4.  Submit photocopies of required documents, including JEE Main scorecards, 10+2 mark sheets, and other certificates.
  5. Pay application fees, which may be applicable according to the college.
  6. Stay tuned for a merit list prepared based on JEE Scores.
  7. For those whose names will appear in the merit list, admission will follow, accompanied with the verification of documents and payment of fees.

B.Tech courses have the following stages for admissions into M.Tech programs:

  1. Take the GATE test and secure a valid score.
  2. Check the official website YCET and fill out the M.Tech application form.
  3. Upload the necessary documents, including GATE scorecard data, B.E./B.Tech degree certificate, etc.
  4. Pay the M.Tech admission application fee.
  5. The selected candidates may be called for an interview.
  6.  Final selection will be based either on GATE score and/or performance in the interview, if conducted.
  7. The successful candidates must finish the registration process by submission of original documents and payment of requisite fees.

The following documents are needed to admit students in B.Tech and M.Tech: Entrance examination score card (GATE for M.Tech, JEE Main for B.Tech). 10th and 12th mark sheet and certificates. Degree certificates and mark sheets (for M.Tech applicants). Category certificate, if applicable. Domicile certificate, if required. Recent passport-size photographs. Any other documents specified by the college at the time of admission.

Degree wise Admission Process

B.Tech: YCET offers a total of five B.Tech programs with an intake of 270 students. Admission into the B.Tech programs is dependent on the JEE Main scores. Here is a complete breakdown of the available seats for each of the courses:

  • B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering (60 seats)
  • B.Tech in Electronics and Communication Engineering (60 seats)
  • B.Tech in Electrical Engineering (60 seats)
  • B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering (60 seats)
  • B.Tech in Civil Engineering (30 seats)

A candidate must have cleared the 10+2 examination with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as core subjects and must qualify in the JEE-Main examination for admission.

M.Tech: Each of the two M.Tech programs at YCET has 18 seats:

  • M.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering
  • M.Tech in Electronics and Communication Engineering

M.Tech admissions are based on GATE scores. For eligibility, candidates must possess a B.E./B.Tech degree in the relevant field and have a GATE score. The final selection might also take place based on an interview conducted before the GATE score.

This college have the best infrastructure to get more practical knowledge the classrooms of this college is very awesome in condition and the classrooms are also very hygienic and good in cleaning all the classrooms have the facility of smart classes

The campus is much smaller than expected thankful there is parking area but there is no ground for outdoor extra curricular activities. The interiors are pretty satisfied. As compare to the area it is also not satisfying
