Yallaling Education Trust, Sri Siddarameshwara Ayurveda Medical, Bidar, was started in 1997 and is an affiliated college in the field of Ayurveda. This institution is located at Nowbad, Humnabad Road, Bidar, Karnataka, and the institution occupies a 2-acre piece of land. The college is recognized by the Central Council of Indian Medicine (CCIM) to deliver the course in Ayurveda. The college currently has 166 students and has 32 faculty members hence it meaningfully has a good students/faculty ratio. It provide just one programme which is Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS) having an annual intake capacity of 60 students.

Student facilities of the college are described as follows: Every class has books and journals stocking adequate information need for learning; alongside with modern information technology in support of learning. These include an auditorium for events and seminars and well as creation of a lively academic environment for the campus. For heath physical aspect, every student is privileged to access sporting facilities. The college also also has a health center and first aid equipment to ensure that the students do not have any shortcut while they are practicing. Canteen is responsible for providing foods to the human capital which is the staff and the scholars. The institution boasts of its alumni relationships whereby closeness is upheld after the students join the work force. Guest house, for visitors, guest house means the Usmanova guest house where people can find comfortable accommodation if they come to our University as the faculty or students’ families.

At Yallaling Education Trust Sri Siddarameshwara Ayurveda Medical College the BAMS program is provided, as a full time course of study which takes six years to complete. This program base the institute’s academic programs, with an approved capacity of 60 student intake. The objectives of the course are to give students substantial information about Ayurveda, as well as giving practical body and soul training for working in the sphere of the traditional Indian medicine system. For enabling the physical experience of the course, it has Departmental Laboratories which will help students to practice in different sections of this large medical service.

For admission in BAMS course in Yallaling Education Trust Sri Siddarameshwara Ayurveda Medical College the candidate has to appear for National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Under Graduate (NEET UG) only. This examination makes it possible for only deserving candidates to be admitted into the program at this national level. To get into the college, the prospective students have to pass their NEET UG test and meet the cutoff score.
