Yashwantrao Chavan college of Physical Education, Mangrulpir, was established in 1993 in Washim, Maharashtra, and  is devoted solely to the course of physical education. This co- ducational college is located in a 4-acre campus, approved by National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), as an affiliated college. To make sure that the college serves the need for producing future physical education professionals, the college provides a B.P.Ed qualification. As of now, the institute boasts a total of 86 enrolee  and with the assistance of a 5-member strong faculty, maximising student attention and optimum learning in the area of physical education is promoted. 

Yashwantrao Chavan Physical Education College has a number of infrastructures intended to support learning and more importantly the development of the learners. Sports facilities are central to the institution's mission since they prepare the students for practical experience on different specialties in sports. The campus boasts of functional gymnasium that allows the students to gain physical fitness as well as appreciate aspects of physical health. The prime programme of Yashwantrao Chavan Physical Education College is B.P.Ed course. This is a full-time course and covers over a period of three years and the approved recruitment size is one hundred. Its aims are to provide the students with substantial knowledge and skills in physical education in order to prepare them for professional activity in teaching, coaching, and sports management. Though the college is at the moment only has one degree programme, its specialty allows the college to provide comprehensive coverage of physical education as well as appropriate training.
