YSPS Polytechnic is a polytechnic institution. It provides the students who enrol with courses like Diploma across different disciplines of engineering. 1. First, the applicants need to sit for the MHT-CET (Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test) or any other entrance examination permitted by the state government.

2. After the declaration of entrance exam results, the applicants are allowed to seek admission in YSPS Polytechnic through the CAP conducted by DTE, Maharashtra.

3. Applicants have to submit an online application form on the DTE website by furnishing all the details correctly and as per their original documents.

4. Scanned copies of all the following documents have to be uploaded by the applicants:

• 10th standard mark sheet
• School leaving certificate
• Domicile certificate for Maharashtra state candidates
• Caste certificate in case of Scheduled Caste / Scheduled Tribe candidates
• Income certificate if applied under any of the Fee Concession Category
• Entrance Exam Score Card

5. Post filling up the online application, one has to remit the necessary application fee via prescribed payment method.

6. On the basis of the published merit list of DTE, the candidates are called for counseling and seat allotment.

7. Such candidates will report at YSPS Polytechnic for the process of document verification and confirmation of admission within due time.

8. After document verification, the admission fee has to be paid in order to guarantee a seat at the institute. 
Degree wise Admission Process
Diploma in Electronics and Communication Engineering: It focuses on working with electronic systems, communication technologies, and signal processing. Admissions are on the basis of merit in the qualifying examination along with state-level entrance tests conducted. Course Teaches students well-founded concepts on electronic circuits, digital systems, and communication networks. 

Diploma in Civil Engineering: This course trains students for the construction and infrastructure development industries. Admission is made on the basis of academic merit at the 10th standard, especially in Mathematics and Science. The subjects include structural engineering, surveying, and construction management.  

Diploma in Electrical Engineering: The diploma course covers electrical systems, power generation, and distribution. Admission is made strictly on merit and the candidate's performance in relevant entrance examinations. Some of the courses are electrical machines, power systems, and control engineering. 

Diploma in Mechanical Engineering: It is a three-year course of designing, manufacturing, and maintenance of mechanical systems. The Mathematics and Science aptitude of a candidate is examined from his/her 10th standard results for granting admission to the course. Some of the major areas included are thermodynamics, machine design, and manufacturing processes.
