Eligibility Criteria (UG & PG) of Arabic

Though the eligibility criteria for most of the universities for Arabic courses is similar, you need to qualify the eligibility to get admission into the Arabic courses.

For undergraduate Arabic courses

• For a candidate to be eligible to apply for undergraduate Arabic courses, the candidate must have a completion certificate for 10+2.
• While admissions can be conducted on the basis of the marks obtained in Class 10+2, some colleges also conduct entrance examinations before accepting the students.
  
  

For postgraduate Arabic courses

• For the candidate to be eligible for the admission process into the Master’s program for Arabic, the candidate must have a graduation degree in any discipline with a minimum aggregate of 50 percent in graduation from a recognized institute.

The candidate must also have proficiency in the Arabic language to pass the criteria for the admission to the Master’s level.

For Doctorate of Philosophy in Arabic courses

• There is a minimum age criterion set for the admission to this program that is 22 years.
• With this, the candidate is also expected to have either a Master’s degree or an M.Phil certificate in Arabic from a recognized institute with a minimum aggregate of 55 percent to be eligible for admission to the program.
• The prospective candidates should also have cleared NET/UGC/SLET examinations to apply for the admission in the PhD program in Arabic.
