Eligibility Criteria (UG & PG) of Paediatric Nursing
The eligibility criteria for admission into Paediatric Nursing Courses are similar to most undergraduate and postgraduate courses. Candidates must satisfy the following criteria to be eligible for the admission.
For Undergraduate Nursing Courses
Specialisation in Paediatric nursing is available only at the post-graduation level. However, students can get a B.sc or undergraduate degree in Nursing.
To be eligible to pursue this course, a student needs to have completed his Class XII education from a recognised board.
They should also have studied PCB (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) and English as compulsory subjects.
A minimum of 50% marks in Class XII exams are required by students to qualify for the B.Sc Nursing course admission.
The eligibility criteria may differ from one institution to another. Each university further releases a cut off list for the admission procedure.
For Postgraduate Paediatric Nursing Courses
Applicants should have passed a bachelor's degree in Nursing or other sciences with minimum 55% marks from a recognised university board.

All India Institute of Medical Sciences Entrance Exam- This is an entrance exam conducted for various B.sc, M.sc, Diploma, MBBS and PhD courses. Allahabad University Entrance Exam- It is the entrance examination of the University of Allahabad. Generally conducted in May and June, it is divided into two categories- UGAT for undergraduate courses and PGAT for post-graduate courses.
AU AIMEE Entrance Exam- AU AIMEE is an entrance examination conducted at select centres in Tamil Nadu by Annamalai University. It is for the candidates who intend to seek admission for the self-financing medical programmes offered by the university. It includes courses like MBBS, BDS, BPT, B. Sc (Nursing), B. Pharm, etc.
