A minimum of 50% marks in Class XII exams are required by students to qualify for the B.Sc Nursing course admission.

For Postgraduate Paediatric Nursing Courses
Applicants should have passed a bachelor's degree in Nursing or other sciences with minimum 55% marks from a recognised university board.
Some reputed colleges and institutes conduct an entrance examination for admission.
All India Institute of Medical Sciences Entrance Exam- This is an entrance exam conducted for various B.sc, M.sc, Diploma, MBBS and PhD courses. It is usually conducted in July and offers 146 specialisations across 15 courses. AIIMS, Delhi is one of the most prestigious medical colleges of India and awards its own medical degrees and other distinctions. Students all over the country can take this examination and based on their ranks; they are given admission to various courses and institutions of AIIMS.
Allahabad University Entrance Exam- It is the entrance examination of the University of Allahabad. Generally conducted in May and June, it is divided into two categories- UGAT for undergraduate courses and PGAT for post-graduate courses.
AU AIMEE Entrance Exam- AU AIMEE is an entrance examination conducted at select centres in Tamil Nadu by Annamalai University. It is for the candidates who intend to seek admission for the self-financing medical programmes offered by the university. It includes courses like MBBS, BDS, BPT, B. Sc (Nursing), B. Pharm, etc.
