Birla Institute of Technology and Science Admission Test
Hello,
Let me tell you that 147 marks in BITSAT is very low to get any of the branches of bits (Pilani, Hyderabad,Goa).
I would suggest you to look for other colleges as a back up because here at a maximum you will get bits Hyderabad some lower branch which is not worth it.
So, there are other exams like wbjee, comedk , jee mains and advanced . You can go for colleges through these exams.
Hey!
In BITSAT around 30 questions come from Physics And Chemistry each , there will be 10 and 20 questions of English and Logical Reasoning resp . And around 40 questions will be asked from Maths/ biology as per your choice of subject. So I would not suggest you to leave Chemistry for BITSAT as it may help you gain some more marks and improve your AIR
Thanks
Hello Vinit,
Confirmations at BITS are conceded exclusively founded on the score acquired by the competitors who showed up in the test. Students frequently try to score no less than 225 out of 450 to get a spot at BITS.
I will give you the marks vs rank analysis which depends on the earlier year's information of the position got by the test takers against theirs marks.
201 to 250 (Marks) - 22442 to 32565 (ranks in BITSAT)
Students who have gotten lesser than 225 marks on this test have lower chances of getting entrance into any of the campuses.

Hi
Yes, you can definitely apply for BITSAT 2nd session even if you didn't apply for 1st session.
This is because,
It's not mandatory to attempt or apply for both the session. It's completely student's choice . It's just that if one attempts both the session then best score out of the two is considered for admission

There is no restriction for applying for the BITSAT. Either you can apply for any one of the session or for the both sessions. It totally depends on you. Hope this helps.
Thank You!
See, to be honest, 100 marks in JEE Main is not considered to be a great score as this score will hardly provide you with some good college opportunities. And on the other hand, 300+ in BITSAT is considered to be a splendid score and will open many doors for you in top branches in all the campuses of BITS Pilani.
If you have not done JEE Main exam with the capability that you have, then there won't be a problem as BITSAT is usually of lower level than JEE Main. But if not, then you'll have to give your best efforts in preparing for JEE Main.
Anyways, no one can stop you if you give your best efforts in preparing for BITSAT in the time that you get between JEE Main and BITSAT. So, keep preparing.
Hope I have answered your question. All the best!

Dear Aspirant,
If you don't have a lot of choices then yes, BITS Dubai is a good option.
Generally, according to the alumni reviews, BITS Dubai's standards is not close to Pilani or Hyderabad. The faculties and coursework isn't that great. You'll have to spend a lot of money for travel, fee and living.
Hence, given all these points we can say that it isn't that great a choice . But, at the end of your degree you will get the BITS brand name.
If you are getting a good private college in India like LPU, Thapar, SRM, Amrita, VIT, SASTRA, please do go for it.
If you choose BITS Dubai, make sure you work hard and go out of your way to get lucrative internship experiences.
Hope this helps.
