hoping you are doing good, as per your query first you have to give the Chandigarh University entrance exam (CUCET) it probably starts after JEE main exam, you can consider the opening timing for 1st year student after JEE main 2022 exam. In my case I gave my CUCET exam on 28th September 2021 and my class were start from 2nd October 2021.

Chandigarh University Common Entrance Test or also known as CUCET is a National level online entrance test conducted by NAAC A+ accredited Chandigarh University. The entrance exam of CUCET 2022 is held in two phases - CUCET I and CUCET II. The university has started the CUCET 2022 registration from December 23, 2021. Male and female reproductive systems; microscopic anatomy of testis and ovary; gametogenesis – spermatogenesis and oogenesis; menstrual cycle; fertilisation, embryo development upto blastocyst formation, implantation; pregnancy and placenta formation (elementary idea); parturition (elementary idea); lactation (elementary idea).

For Chandigarh University Common Entrance Test (CUCET), there are 2 phases and result is declared in about a month after you appear for any of the phase. Like for Phase 1 applications are going on and will continues till May 29th 2022 so you can register anytime and appear for Phase 1, also note that you can appear for maximum of two attempts per phase not more than 2.
Phase 2 will get started from June 2022 and will continues till end of admission so you can appear anytime for CUCET.

The CUCET test will be used for admissions cum scholarship purpose
For B.E, B.Pharmacy, MBA, Integrated Law programs (B.A+LLB, BBA+LLB, BCom+LLB) and B.Sc (Hons) Agriculture, CUCET will be mandatory with an exception for those who secure more than 90% marks in qualifying examination or upto 50000 rank in JEE and it will act as an entrance test only.
But for the rest of the courses CUCET will act as scholarship.
