Indian Maritime University Common Entrance Test

IMU CET is the reduced form of Indian Maritime University Common Entrance Test. It is conducted by Indian Maritime University for admission of the suitable candidates to Undergraduate (except BBA), Post Graduate and Research programmes.
For B.Tech (Marine Engineering) and B.Tech (Naval Architecture & Ocean Engineering) the eligibility criteria is -
Passed Class 12 (Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as main subject with minimum 60% average) or equivalent. Obtained 50% aggregate in English subject in Class 10 and Class 12.
SC/ST candidates will get relaxation of 5% but it is not applicable to the English marks.
For this particular course the average score of PCM is 60% and you scored 59.9% so my suggestion would be you should apply and wait for the confirmation by the officials.
For BSc (Ship Building and Repair) the eligibility criteria is -
Passed Class 12 (Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as main subject with minimum 50% average) or equivalent. Obtained 50% aggregate in English subject in Class 10 and Class 12.
For BBA (Logistics, Retailing and eCommerce) the eligibility criteria is -
Passed Class 12 (60% aggregate in any stream) or equivalent. Obtained 50% aggregate in English subject in Class 10 and Class 12.

Since you have already passed your 12th with PCB . So, yes now you can give NIOS exam for Mathematics and be eligible for IMU CET and get admitted into various UG courses in IMU .

The IMU STANDS FOR INDIAN MARITIME University. It conducts it's own common entrance exam and in order to take admission one needs to sit for the entrance.
Now as far as the eligibility is concerned they require students that they needs to have physics chemistry and maths in their class 12th.
If you will complete your maths from NIOS then I think you are good to go .
