Exam pattern and syllabus of IMU cet-Candidate should be of 12th standard examination with science subject like physics chemistry mathematics with 50% marks for B tech, for BBA and MBA Candidate should be from arts group with 50% marks. Candidate should have to appear a common entrance test of Indian Marine University courses for UG candidate has to attempt 200 MCQ questions on online mode, 4 correct answer for each question 1 marks is awarded. There is no no need in working so every question should be attempted a question should be in the standard of 12th class level. The subject of test are English, general knowledge, physics and mathematics.
For PG level questions will be of 120 in number MCQ pattern and in online mode. Marks for question is 1 and no negative marking so no questions will be avoided.

The eligibility criteria to appear for IMU CET 2021 is that candidate must have passed 10+2 with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry with minimum 60% aggregate marks (for genera category candidates) and 55% aggregate marks for SC/ST category candidates and the candidate must score minimum 50% aggregate marks in English subject from a recognized board. The official notification is not yet released but in the information brochure for admission in the academic year 2020-21 it was given that a candidate who appears in the qualifying that is class 12th exam after August 2020 are not eligible to apply. SO by considering this you can appear for IMU CET if you appear in the qualifying exam before August 2021 else you are not eligible to apply.

The eligilbity criteria states that candidate should have qualified 12th standard (or equivalent) examination with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics from any recognized central or state board and Candidates should have scored minimum 60% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. At least 50% marks have to be secured in English. So 10+2 level appering candidate are not eligible for IMU CET. General category candidates should be minimum 18 years and maximum 25 years old as on August 1, 2021. For the SC/ST category, there is 5 year relaxation in the upper age limit.
IMU conducted IMU CET for admission to BTech, MTech and MBA program, once the online registration commences, you'll be able to apply at the official website at https://www.imu.edu.in//, hence you can stay updated at this site, since from your profile it seems you're an engineering aspirant just to let you know about the exam pattern, there will be a total of 150 questions from Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, English and General Aptitude, it will be based on 10+2 level only.

Yes, you can study Marine Engineering. Also, you are eligible to study this course if you have completed 10+2 education in Science stream from a recognised Board where you have studied studied Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics and have secured a minimum aggregate of 55 percentage. But you should also write entrance exams to get seat in some colleges.
