Indian Maritime University Common Entrance Test

The Indian Maritime University (IMU) administers a national-level common entrance test to facilitate admission into a range of programs such as BSc, BTech, UG Diploma, MTech, MBA, and PhD programs available at IMU campuses. For the IMU CET 2024 admissions cycle, it is expected that application forms will be released in April 2024, and the examination is tentatively scheduled for June 2024.
IMU CET is conducted in a computer-based format. To apply for IMU CET for admission to IMU in 2024, applicants must complete the following steps: register for IMU CET, download their IMU CET admit cards, and take the examination. Successful candidates who pass IMU CET will receive rank certificates. Those with rank certificates are then eligible to participate in IMU's online counseling process. IMU will exclusively conduct online counseling for admissions at its six campuses located in Navi Mumbai, Mumbai Port, Kolkata, Visakhapatnam, Chennai, and Kochi.

As per the tentative dates IMUCET 2023 it is expected to be conducted in the month of June 2023.
One needs to have at least 60% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics in 10+2 to be eligible for IMU CET.

The eligibility criteria for the IMUCET is:
A Bachelor's Degree in any discipline with minimum of 50% marks from recognized universities and minimum of 50% marks in English subject in 10th / 12th / UG Degree . Candidates under this category must appear for the IMU's Common entrance test( CET)
So as per the eligibility criteria you are eligible the common entrance test.

The application for IMUCET was released on 29th March, and the last date to apply for the same was 26th May, the exam was successfully conducted on 11th June, the registration of counselling for first round had already commenced on 30th June, and the last date to apply is 7th July, the release of first admission list is 12th July, check out our page at https://www.careers360.com/exams/imu-cet to know more details regarding this.

I hope you are good! IMU Vizag do offers B.Tech in Naval Architecture & Ocean Engineering and you need to secure under 150 rank to have higher chances of admission. Your rank 789 is really too far for this. I suggest you to do some more hard-work with patience and practice your lessons more and more.
For BE marine in IMU Kolkata, you have really appreciating rank. The cutoff for GEN remains around 2000 and having rank 789 will always give you an edge for admission. If you are interested, my suggestion is to not leave such great opportunity.
