As you didn't mentioned the courses you want to tame admission but as your secured rank in the exam tells an idea that if you go for any courses you were allotted any campus you want for the course you enrolled in.I think all options are open for you now you have to choose whether to go for IMU Vizag, IMU Mumbai,IMU Kolkata or any IMUs of you choice or foraby private institutions like Tolani and others .

Hello anusreepradhankrishnan, it is to inform you that Indian Maritime University (IMU) is going to release the IMU CET exam's result on the basis of normalized marks in 12th standard. The result is yet to be announced but expected to be declared in September 2021 itself. Once announced, the result can be checked on the official website. Visit IMU CET 2021, click on the result link, and the result will be displayed on the screen in pdf form. Candidates can download or print the result pdf for future use.

Candidates who submitted IMU CET Application were waiting for the IMU CET Result 2021. Candidates are to be informed that the result for IMU CET is scheduled to be released on 6th September 2021. In order to get the result, applicants need to provide his/her login details. IMU CET resilt will be uploaded on IMU official website.

There is no such specific date mentioned yet. However, it is said that the counselling will be starting this month. Qualified candidates will be eligible to participate in the counseling of IMU CET 2021. It is necessary for all candidates to be registered for the counselling session within the duration notified by the authorities. During the counselling, you will be allotted to the campuses of Indian Maritime University. The counselling of IMU CET 2021 is held only for the campuses.

IMU is a Central (Government) University, in IMU you have to pay the admission fee. And after passing IMU CET they do provide scholarship to meritorious students. The candidates are divided into 3 groups. The toppers in1st group of students get a scholarships of 1 lacs INR. The 2nd group gets a scholarship of 75,000 INR and the 3rd group gets a scholarship of 50,000 INR. There will be 10-15 students in each category. For backward classes, there are various scheme and scholarship available without merit. You can find the details from the official website.

And in IMU there's good scholarship program available for the students. At the end of each semester, the top 3 students with the highest marks are provided cheque from 20-40 thousands and are provided certificates for their studying. Hope this will heip you.

Diploma in Marine Engineering

It is a 3 year program. The eligibility criteria is +2 with physics, chemistry and mathematics as compulsory subjects. Entrance exam like BITSAT, JEE MMAIN etc and in some cases merit based admission is possible

Average fee is INR 50,000 - 3lakh

Average salary INR 4.5 - 6 LPA

Btech in Marine Engineering

It is a 4 year program. The eligibility criteria is +2 with minimum 55% aggregate marks. Physics, chemistry and mathematics are mandatory subjects. Candidates have to clear entrance exams like JEE MAINSor IMU CET.

Average fee INR 50,000 - 15 Lakhs

Average salary INR 5-20 LPA

BSc in Nautical Science

It is a 4 year program. Eligibility requirements is +2 with minimum 50 % marks in physics, chemistry and mathematics. Some reputed institutions have entrance exam.

Average fee INR 2-8 lakhs

Average salary INR 6-8 lakhs
