The expected KCET cutoff rank for Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning (AI/ML) in top colleges is between 1000 and 3600. For reference, Computer Science Engineering (CSE) in top colleges typically has a cutoff between 1,200 and 3,000, while other branches like Electronics and Communication (ECE) and Electrical and Electronics (EEE) have slightly higher cutoff ranks, ranging from 2,800 to 15,000. Mechanical and Civil Engineering branches have a wider range of cutoff ranks, typically between 5,000 to 15,000 and 8,000 to 18,000, respectively.
You can use KCET 2024–25 rank predictor tools by entering your expected KCET marks (out of 180) and your Class 12th marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Math (out of 300). These tools will give you an estimated rank based on previous years' trends and help you know which colleges you might get.

With a ST category rank of approximately 2,30,000 in KCET, securing a seat for CSE in a Bangalore college is highly unlikely. Even the most open branches in Bangalore’s top private institutions typically close well before rank 40,000-60,000, and ST-specific cutoffs can be even stricter.
