my kcet ranking is 2 lakh above can i get engineering colleges for cs Or e and c

kumardurgesh1802 26th Sep, 2024

Hello student,

With a KCET ranking above 2 lakh , securing a seat in Computer Science (CS) or Electronics and Communication (E&C) engineering is challenging but possible.

Options:

  1. Private Engineering Colleges : Some may have lower cut-offs, allowing you to apply for CS or E&C.

  2. Management Quota : Consider colleges that offer management seats, which typically come with higher fees.

  3. Related Branches : Explore branches like Information Technology or Electrical Engineering, which might have lower cut-offs.

    Recommendations:
  • Research Colleges : Identify those with historically lower cut-offs for your rank.

  • Contact Colleges : Inquire directly about admissions to increase your chances.

While options may be limited, exploring private colleges and management quotas can help you secure admission. Let me know if you need specific college suggestions!

sir... can i get bvb college of hubli.. my ranking in kcet is 77768 and i have 371 J article

kumardurgesh1802 17th Oct, 2024

Hello there,

With a KCET rank of 77,768 and belonging to the 371 J article category, your chances of getting into BVB College of Engineering and Technology in Hubli may be limited, especially for popular branches like Computer Science or Electronics. However, you might have a better chance in less competitive branches or through the management quota.

Suggestions:

  1. Check Previous Year Cutoffs : It's important to look at the previous year's cutoff ranks for BVB College to understand the trend. This will help you gauge whether you might secure a seat.

  2. Consider Other Colleges : If you don’t secure a seat at BVB, explore other engineering colleges in Karnataka where the cutoffs may be lower.

  3. Stay Informed During Counseling : Keep an eye on the KCET counseling process and be ready to adjust your options based on the available seats and ranks during the rounds.

  4. Management Quota : If you're particularly keen on BVB, inquire about management quota seats, which may have different eligibility criteria.

kumardurgesh1802 18th Sep, 2024

Hello student,

With a KCET rank of 77,557 for B.Sc Nursing , your chances of getting a government seat might be limited, but you can still get admission to private colleges in Karnataka. Specific colleges may have different cutoff ranks, especially for the B.Sc Nursing course.

Colleges You Can Consider:

  1. Private Nursing Colleges in Karnataka:

    • Vydehi Institute of Nursing Sciences, Bangalore
    • Kempegowda Nursing College, Bangalore
    • Sapthagiri College of Nursing, Bangalore

  2. Semi-Government Colleges :

    • Some semi-government colleges might also consider ranks around yours, especially if they have reserved category seats.

      Recommendations:
  • Check Counseling Cutoffs : Stay updated with the KCET counseling to see the actual cutoff for B.Sc Nursing courses.

  • Participate in Multiple Rounds : Some seats may open up in later counseling rounds.

With 77,557 KCET rank , you may not get a government seat, but you have chances in private or semi-government nursing colleges. Keep an eye on counseling updates.

my pu percentage is 93% and my kcet ranking is 54262 can i get cs branch in vvce ..

kumardurgesh1802 17th Oct, 2024

Hello Apoorva,

With a KCET ranking of 54,262 and a PU percentage of 93%, your chances of getting a seat in the Computer Science (CS) branch at VVCE (Vidya Vardhaka College of Engineering) are somewhat uncertain.

Considerations:

  1. Previous Year Trends : Generally, VVCE has seen higher demand for CS, often resulting in lower cutoff ranks. You'll need to check the previous year's closing ranks for the CS branch to get a clearer picture.

  2. Other Branches : If CS does not seem feasible, consider applying for other branches within the college, as they may have higher cutoffs than CS.

  3. Management Quota : If you're particularly interested in VVCE, explore the possibility of management quota seats, which might have different eligibility criteria.

  4. Counseling Rounds : Stay engaged during the counseling rounds. Sometimes, seats can become available due to others dropping out, so remaining flexible with your choices is key.

I am from karnataka my kcet rank in bnys is 43076 meet score 260 will I get govt seat in karnataka

kumardurgesh1802 17th Oct, 2024

Hello Srushti,

With a KCET rank of 43,076 and a NEET score of 260 , securing a government seat in BNYS (Bachelor of Naturopathy and Yogic Sciences) in Karnataka may be challenging but not impossible. The following points can help clarify your situation:

KCET Counseling for BNYS

  1. Cut-off Trends : Government seats in BNYS usually have varying cut-off ranks depending on the college and the category. Generally, higher demand and competition for seats in BNYS may lead to cut-offs that are significantly lower than your rank. It's crucial to check the previous year's cut-offs for specific colleges to gauge your chances.

  2. Reservation Categories : If you belong to any reservation category, it may provide you some leverage in securing a seat despite your rank.

  3. Mop-Up Rounds : If you do not secure a seat in the initial rounds, keep an eye on mop-up rounds or any stray vacancy rounds that may be announced, as they can sometimes allow for late admissions.

    NEET Score Consideration

  • Eligibility : While your NEET score qualifies you for consideration, the competition for government seats in BNYS is typically tough, and cut-offs vary widely based on the overall performance of candidates in a particular year.

    Recommendations

  • Explore Private Colleges : If securing a government seat proves difficult, consider applying to private colleges offering BNYS, which may have different criteria and cut-offs.

  • Consult with Admission Experts : They can provide tailored advice based on the latest trends and can assist with your application process.

i got 83000 ranking in kcet which college will i get

G PAVAN KUMAR 22nd Sep, 2024

With your given rank and assuming open category, you can get the following colleges with your preferred B. Tech branch as per previous year cut off trends: Presidency University, Bangalore. Nagarjuna College of Engineering and Technology, Bangalore a KCET rank of 83,000, it might be challenging to secure a government seat in top-tier colleges in Karnataka for Computer Science (CS) or Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning (AIML). However, there are several good colleges in Karnataka where you may have a chance of getting admission in these fields. Candidates securing a KCET rank of 80,000 can find admission in only a few of the colleges of Karnataka. A rank of 80,000 in the KCET 2024 exam is considered to be a low rank keeping in mind the difficulty level maintained by the Karnataka Examination Authority!
