    i got 154 marks out of 240 in the manipal MET. Can i get cse, it, ece or triple e in the main udupi campus??

    Dear Aspirant,
    First of all congratulations for your performance. According to my prediction you can definitely get IT, ECE, EEE branch. Cut off for CSE is usually high and this year according to me it would be around 160-170 marks. Still you can wait till the last round of counseling, who knows you may get lucky. Stay positive!

    Hello Naman,

    According to your marks you rank should be around 2.8k to 3.2k, you have achieved a decent score to get a good branch in Manipal main Campus. For CSE you may need to struggle during the counselling but there is surety that you will get CCE, DSE and IT here, there is not much difference in them and CSE, if you are getting then you should definitely go for that.

    Beside you will get CSE in Jaipur without any struggle, now its totally up to you whether you take IT/CCE in main campus or CSE in Jaipur campus.

    As you have mentioned that you have scored 164/240 in the manipal entrance examination and you want to know your rank so there is no official data regarding marks vs rank but I would predict it according to my knowledge.

    Your predicted rank would be somewhat around 1k. So in this rank you would definitely get cse core or any specialization branch available at manipal. But note this predicted rank can vary a bit because of the following conditions-

    1- Difficulty level of the paper

    2-Number of candidates appearing in that examination.

    3-Number of vacant seats available

    4-Previous years cut off

    i have applied to MET 2021 through manipal.edu website do i have to apply separately for manipal jaipur?

    No you needn't fill form for Jaipur campus separately. All the campuses are included in the university. The score card of the common entrance exam of Manipal University can be shown to any of the campuses ( Manipal, Sikkim, Jaipur). There is only one entrance exam.     Hi,
    As your score is above 150 you can easily get ECE, IT and CC in the main campus Manipal. However, cutoff varies every year based on various reasons like exam difficulty level, the number of students appearing and the number of seats in the college every year.

    Dear Aspirant,
    To get ECE branch you need minimum of 160 marks  if you want the Manipal campus. For Jaipur campus scoring 130+ marks could also get you ECE branch. Your score is lower than these expected cut offs so there is a very less chance that you might grab ECE branch in these colleges. But no need to get disheartened wait till the last day of counseling and side by side give other entrance exams as well.

    Your selection in the manipal university will depend on many factors like Cutoff , Number of students appear in the exam, Number of students qualify the exam, Number of seats available and the previous year cutoff.

    To get seat in the Manipal University , you must have atleast 120- 150 marks. But the Cutoff vary every year .
