The cut off is determined based on total number of candidates appeared for MET in Phase 1 and Phase 2, difficulty level of examination, total number of seats available, total number of candidates applied for counselling. It doesn't change for the candidates who have appeared for retest. It is difficult to predict the cut off for this year before thr counselling because it depends on the above mentioned factors. The cut off list will be published by the authorities at the end of the Counseling. The final result and rank list going to be out by the fourth week of June 2021 tentatively. Hello aspirant, the competition is increasing every year for CSE in met exam. You need under 2400 rank for Data Science and Engg. course and under 900 rank to get a seat in CSE in Manipal main campus. For this rank you need at least 145+ marks and so you may or may not get a seat in CSE depending upon your rank . However you can get CSE in Manipal Jaipur campus easily but it is a very new entablement and students generally prefer going to Manipal main campus due to its placement records. In main campus you can get Computer & Communication (CC) or Data Science & Engg (DS) and other branches like ECE, electricsl etc.

These things depends on certain factors like number of candidates appearing in that examination, number of vacant seats in the college, previous years cut off, difficulty level of the paper.

As per my knowledge if a student scores 150+ then he would easily get a rank of 1.3-1.4k so as per this in 200 there is high chances for you getting under 100 but as I told it may vary.

If you would get under 100 then definitely you would eligible for the freeship.

It is important for you to mention which campus of Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham as the other campuses are no near to that of  Coimbatore or Amritapuri campus. Taking these two in consideration, Manipal Jaipur falls far behind the Amrita University. Nirf University  ranking of both colleges are 4 and 39 respectively.

The placements at Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham is excellent and higher due to tough competition, high reputation in education world. It also has highly active placement cells and student clubs which provide best options for placement and startups. Manipal University, Jaipur is still growing and is a sister college of Manipal campus, the placement here are around 75-80 percent and average packages is also lower in comparison.

Now to get into CSE branch from Amrita Coimbatore you should have a rank of 8000 or below if you have state quota. As you have mentioned that you have state quota for Amrita campus then it would have been an added advantage of would have scored around 120-130 marks. You have less chances to get CSE branch. You need a score more than 150 marks to get into CSE branch from any of the Amrita campuses. With your score you can get into Mechanical branch. But still wait for your actual rank list.

Your score is below 65 percent of the total score, which is a fair score. With this score, there is a very slim chance of getting into Manipal Main Campus. Generally, 65-75 percent of the total score is considered a good score and can get you a decent branch in the Manipal Main Campus. It will be difficult for you to get core branches in Manipal main campus.

However, with this score, you have a chance of getting some of the core branches in Manipal University Jaipur and Sikkim Manipal University.

It should also be noted that owing to many factors the above data is subjected to change.
