l have given a less imp 2nd identification mark..such as my front teeth are broken..does I need to change it or not?
Hi,
Honestly speaking, it will not affect you that much. And this is your second identification mark. If your first one is accurate, then you are good to go.
But I would recommend you to change your second identification mark as well.
Identification marks are some identity which will remain there like always. For example- burn mark or scratch mark or something like that.
If you have any other identification mark which is like more profound and always there, I will suggest you to mention that.
I hope this information helps.
All the best.
Is there EWS for January 2020 aiims pg entrance...there is no option in basic registration
Hi Priya,
AIIMS has seen a increase in number of seats by 60 seats in PG with 59 in MD/MS and 1 in MDS because of the implementation of EWS category.
EWS category has been active and implemented from the AIIMS July 2019 PG session itself.
Hence, EWS will stay there in January 2020 AIIMS PG test as well.
I hope this information helps.
All the best.
Is the category certificate number mandatory for obc-ncl during basic registration or can it be provided at a later date (do specify) ?
Hey Ria
Yes the category certificate number is compulsory in order to complete the basic formalities of registration. This is because then only you provide your category, and without a proof your claim of being in a particular category will not be accepted. So it would be better if you do it along with the registration.
I hope this helps. Feel free to ask any other queries.
I have registered and appeared in AIIMS pg 2019. Now I want to change my category from general to OBCNCL for Registration in 2020 session.
Dear Aspirant
If you originally belong to general category and by mistake you filled last year obc ncl then definitely you can change your category. But if you belong to Obc category and still you want to appear as general candidate then this is not possible. You can enter in any institute through general category if you don't keep your caste certificate in document verification.
Good luck for your future :)
Feel free to ask if you have any further queries.

Hi, I got 5400 rank in July 2019 aiims pg. The eligible candidates list showed the name of reserved candidate for Same rank.
Hello Vaishali Gautam, i want you to know this, that in AIIMS post graduation, there is no reservation for any candidate. In post graduation of AIIMS, every candidate, whether from Reserved category or from unreserved category, you have to secure the same rank and have the same cut-offs.

Hello, can anyone help me in clearing D.M Infectious disease in AIIMS. Is there any PG preparation books or MCQs for clearing it?
Hello Ishu,
Preparing for D. M. Infectious disease in AIIMs is really tough and you need to practice questions thoroughly. Virology & Parasitology as well as Bacteriology including TB & Leporasy, pyrexia of unknown origin and their differential diagnosis along with different forms of infectious diarrhoea and pneumonia which ultimately covers the whole Microbiology are to be practiced. The syllabus range could not be even predicted. Questions will be application or clinicaly based. This also includes latest modalities in the diagnosis and molecular diagnosis of biological and parasitological diseases. You would have 90 minutes for 80 MCQs, you need to just practise these related questions. If you want to gain more than or equal to 50 Percentile, you need to know basics of theory as well as practical. You must also be aware of the basic procedures of culture in autoclave and along with serological tests, identification of various microbiological specimens and instruments and some readymade tests done for which you have to interpret the result. You also need to go through Journals to get updated information.
