Hope you are doing well!! See your rank is bit high to get you into this particular college. As ASTU have provided the merit list and according to the merit you are unable to make it to any government colleges under CEE. You can go for private colleges, some colleges accepts CEE rank for admission. Hope it will help you.

yes there is a chance that u may be selected in the assam engineering college.
based on your merit score in +2 and the rank and based on the the categeory that you belong u may get the seat in the college.
meanwhile you can check other alternative college which suits you preference of facilites.

First of all congratulations on securing a very good rank in CEE exam. But sorry to say your percentage is low to satisfy the eligibility criteria. For getting admitted to government colleges under CEE candidate should pass in every subjects with an aggregate percentage of 50% in PCM. Well i will suggest participate in counseling and then see what happens or else you can go for private colleges. Hope it will help you.

By your rank, your marks approximately will be between 55 to 68.
The minimum eligible marks that allows a student of your category to appear in the second round of counselling is 61 to 56
As you got more marks than that, you're certainly eligible for the counseling through which you can be able to get into government colleges but not in the first counselling, because the minimum marks for your category to join in the first counselling is between 90 to 99, so you'll mostly get through the second counselling.

See first of all you need to satisfy the eligibility criteria with 50% aggregate marks in physics, chemistry and mathematics in 12th standard and you should have passed these subjects individually. And next what rank you should secure to get admitted to government colleges first of all if you belong to general category then your rank must be below 2000. And other cast with an roughly of 2700 rank. Hope these will help you.

As per your rank and as you belong to SC category. As per previous year cut off you can get Assam Engineering college (AEC) with your preferable branch. As ASTU have released the merit list and the counseling will start from 10th of june. And sometimes it depends upon other students who are above of you in ranking what branch they are choosing. Hope you get your college with preferable branch.

If your rank is 475 then yes you may get a seat in Assam Engineering College. Most of the aspirants having better rank than you will either shift to NITs (if having a good rank in JEE) or in IIITs or GFTIs. Also 475 is not much bad for AEC just you need to be careful about the official notifications.

See ASTU have released the merit list and based on these i am sorry to say you are unable to make it in 1st counseling, you better wait for 2nd counseling if there remain any seats after completion of 1st counseling them you may have chances to get into any government colleges under CEE.
