My rank in ASSAM CEE 2019 is 1519.can i get a seat in any of the govt. colleges in ASSAM. If yes,then where?i belong to general category.
First of all congratulations on your attempt in CEE.Still 2019 cutoffs for CEE are not released So we can't estimate accurately.But using previous years cutoff we can estimate approximately that whether you get any seat or not.Last year cutoff for general category for different government colleges is as follows
1. Assam engineering college,Guwhati - 130
2.Jorhat engineering college,Jorhat - 120
3. Jorhat institute of science and technology - 115 marks
4.Bonehead brahma engineering college,Kokrajhar - 110 marks

I am here to answer your question. Asif still 2019 CEE cutoffs are not yet declared. So we can't estimate accurately whether you will be placed in any college or not. But we can estimate approximately based on previous year cutoffs.
In 2017, for general category cutoff is 105 and in 2018, the cutoff for general category is 110. So maybe this year cutoff may nearly in this range.
If your marks are more than or nearly equal to these cutoffs you may get qualified. If you get qualified you may get a seat in one or another college.
If you want to know the cutoffs for government colleges in 2018 then as follows :
1. Assam engineering college, Guwhati - 130
2.Jorhat engineering college, Jorhat - 120
3. Jorhat Institute of science and technology - 115 marks
4.Bonehead Brahma engineering college, Kokrajhar - 110 marks
As competition is increasing we can't expect the same this year.

Kindly specify what entrance exam you have given. If you have given JEE mains paper-1 than with this rank you will get an NIT in your home State NIT or in other states NIT'S. And if you have not secure this rank in JEE mains then kindly specify which entrance exam you have given in comment. Hope it helped you.

See your rank is bit high it's not a good rank even you belong to sc category, with that rank you will be un able to get any government colleges under CEE. But there some good private colleges which accept CEE rank for admission like Royal global University, Guwahati down town University etc. Hope these will help you.

Sir I got a rank of 1898 with 91 marks in Assam CEE 2019 and I belong to SC..Do I have any chances of getting Jorhat Engineering College?
JEC offers admission in B.E by Combined Entrance Examination (CEE) conducted by the Dibrugarh University for admission to many private and governmental medical and engineering institutions in Assam.
The expected cutoff 2019 for JEC is around 120 marks according to which you don't have any chance, but you can wait for different rounds of counselling you may be the lucky one to get selected in JEC.
I got 2947 rank in CEE assam 2019,gen category.. So is there any chance?
Sorry to say but your rank is bit high to get into government colleges as you also belong to general category. But don't lose hope you can also make out to Jorhat institute of science and technology (JIST) Barak valley engineering college or Bineswar brahma engineering college(BBEC) but there are little chances to get admitted to these colleges. Rathe than that you can go for private colleges which comes under CEE. Hope for the best, wait for the counseling and do participate in the counseling. Hope these will help you.

Assam Engineering college is one of the most prominent colleges in assam.
It's current intake of the number of students is 420.
According to your rank your Mark's might be approximately between 130 and 140.
The minimum cutoff for your category that is obc for the last few years is 100.
So with your marks you can surely get into aec college.

I got Rank 1487 with a score of 105 in Assam CEE, can I get a seat at Assam Engineering College in CSE?
As you may be knowing that AEC is amongst the best college indee CEE Assam.
So, usually there's a huge competition to get in there and only rankers get a chance.
As you have secured 105 marks(1487rank in general category) so it's quite difficult for you to make it to AEC.
So definitely your chances are a bit low to get CSE in AEC.
However you can try for other college under CEE Assam.
