Since you are in B.Tech 3rd year now, so i think this is the right time for you to start your Preparation for CAt. You have one year for preparation at this stage of time. To start with I'll recommend you to brush up your basic knowledge of Mathematics. Since you are a Btech student you won't face much difficulty in Quants section if you devote some time for practice regulary. For Verbal section, I'll suggest you to start reading novels, newspaper etc. as much as possible, This will increase your reading speed and improve your vocabulary. Solve past year questions for DILR practice. I'll suggest you to buy test series from some coaching institute for practice. CAT examination is all about practice and your command on subject. If you know the concepts and is good at english then you have high chances of cracking cat.

i got 5.6 cgpa in 10th and then i have done my diploma in engg with 62% and my grads are above 75 can i get in to top b schools or iims .please help me with it .
CAT Eligibility - candidates must have passed or appearing graduation degree from a recognized or statutory college with minimum 50 percent marks.

sir, i got 6.6 cgpa in 10th 69% in 12th and 7.8 cgpa in my graduation. Also I belong to general category. Are their any scopes for top B schools based on the past acadmeic record? If yes what percatile should I think of to achieve to get admission in any of the top B schools.
Dear Aspirant,
Many top B schools like IIMs , BITS, MDI have a look on your academics. Most of the Bschool requirements is above 80 % marks in your academics.
But still we have a lot of Bschools which give importance to your percentile and GDPI.
So according to me target the colleges you wish to apply and then the entrance exam. Above 99 percentile is the acceptable score for many top Bschools.
So focus on preparation and other things like GDPI.

When is the last date for NESLET 2020? Or is it getting over?
SLET commission, Assam will release NE SLET 2020 application forms in the month of July. You need to head to the official website to fill out the online forms.
The eligibility criteria for filing the form is that candidate should have atleast 55% marks (for general category) and 50% (for reserved categories) in post graduation.
The exam consistsof two papers of 100 and 200 marks respectively.
The last date to fill the forms will be in July itself. So be updated with the official website to not miss the forms.
