RMLNLU has a total of  176 seats for BA LLB admission. Out of which, 160 seats are for domestic students and 16 seats for Non-resident Indians (NRIs). The admission on domestic seats is through CLAT entrance exam followed by GD/PI.

For BA LLB admission, candidate must have  passed the Intermediate/Higher Secondary School Examination (10+2) or an equivalent Examination from a University/recognized Board, securing in the aggregate not less than 50% of the total marks (for SC/ST category candidates - 45% of the total marks). The candidates should also have appeared in CLAT and passed the entrance exam.
