yes you are eligible to apply.
the basic eligibility criteria is you need to have a graduation degree in any discipline with at least 10+2+3 pattern. if you are from general category graduation percentage of 50% is required. it is 45% FOR OBC, FOR SC/ST IT IS 40%.
if you have done your 10+2 score or graduation from open university directly not fulfilling any basic qualification, are not eligible to apply.

There is no specific book.All you need to do is that go through past year question papers to have and idea.You can buy arihant publications books for practice of past year papers with solutions. Apart from that you should cover the syllabus thoroughly and that will be enough.

Following are the latest educational eligibility criteria for candidates who are willing to do llb from BHU:-
The candidate looking forward to appear in the BHU-LLB should have passed B.A/B.Sc/B.Com (at least 10+2+3 pattern) securing a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate considering all the subjects in the 3 years except those subjects where only passing marks are required and which does not contribute to the total in the final degree.
OR
The candidate should have passed any other degree under at least 10+2+3 pattern recognized by the Bar Council of India for the purpose of admission to the BHU LL.B course securing a minimum of 50% marks in the aggregate considering all the subjects in the 3 years.
*As per the directive of the Bar Council of India, the candidates who have obtained 10+2 or Graduation/Post Graduation through open Universities system directly without having any basic qualifications for prosecuting such studies are not eligible for admission in law courses.
- The BHU-LLB aspirants belonging to the SC/ST category, there is no minimum aggregate percentage of marks in the qualifying examination except that they must have passed the qualifying examination.
- Those BHU-LLB candidates belonging to the OBC category, there will be a relaxation of 5% marks in aggregate in the qualifying examination.

The application form for bhu UG courses like b.com , b.sc ,.ba etc will be available only through the online mode for various courses from 2nd week of February for both UET and PET.The Application process will consist of various steps Registration, filling the application form, uploading image and signature , preview and editing and making application fee payment.The last date to register and fill the application form online is till the first week of March 2020 .
