BHU provides lot of courses under management like MA in tourism management, corporate management, etc. Since you are noy clear with your course it is difficult to tell you exact information but if you have received the counselling letter you must participate in counselling as the selction also depends on the no. Of students participate in counselling.

Based on your rank and category you have 50-50% chance of getting a seat in BHU. Though you can easily get the management quota or paid seat. The closing rank for BHU for 2018 was all india quota was around 760 rank, while for management quota it was around 1300 rank.

With having 17 rank under obc category your chances are high but cut off may varies with the no. Of students apply for counselling. It is difficult to tell you the exact chances. As per last year cutoff, college was alloted with rank upto 151 and marks 290 under general category cutoff was little lower for reserved categories so it seems difficult to get seat this year. You may apply for paid seats, For paid seats, you have to apply separately at the time of counseling and you have to attend the counselling and fill your choice of combination. If your name will appear in the list of those 10% students, there is an additional fee that you have to deposit in order to study at BHU.

Congratulations on such a wonderful rank. You have ranked 159 in general category which is itself good enough to get you a chance in the second round of counselling in Banaras Hindu University. And with female rank of 39 and obc reservation rank of 16, you have a sure chance of getting admission in BHU.

Last year the cut off rank of LLB in BHU for the admission was 616. If we go by the last year's cut off then there isn't much of a chance for you to get through, however you must be aware cut offs are dependent on many factors so they tend to change every year, you can hope for the best, till the cut off is released. • Group discussion and Interview- 30 percent weightage
• Past academic records- 20 percent weightage

Also there is 7.5% reservation for ST category and it also depends on the no. Of students applying for personal interview/counselling. As cutoff varies every year it is difficult to tell the exact chances.
