You have not mentioned your preferred paper but with 580 rank you may get a seat in Banaras Hindu University Varanasi. I can not say about hostels because hostels are given to top rankers.

Hi Aspirant. You have not mentioned your category and the course of which you are talking about. There are a few courses which has the scholarship facility but not all. So if you mention your category and course, I will be able to help you. But there are very less chance of getting scholarships in B.H.U.

There are 31 seats for the course MSc microbiology in which 8 sears are reserved for obc category, you have got 27 rank under obc category so there seems to have chances of getting college it depend on the no. As per last year cutoff, selection was made upto rank 584 under geenral category and upto rank 201 under obc category. So you seem to have high chances of getting college. Also cutoff changes every year so it is difficult to tell the exact chances. You may check the cutoff rank list whuch is going to be released by BHU soon.

The overall cutoff of MSc Environmental Science in Banaras Hindu University is quiet average as there is not much competition for this score. With an average rank of about 165-170, a candidate have good chances of procuring a seat in this stream. The overall cutoff seems to be revolving around this every year and this year also, the trends ar expected to be constant.
