can I get bds/bams in 2022 with 250 marks in neet in Maharashtra from obc category ?
Dear student,
You have no chance this time in 2022 because as you know cutoff is so high from last 2-3 years.
Also It will also depends on your category (general,obc,sc/st),but with this marks you didn't alot a government or semi government B.A.M.S colleges.
I think You should go for Private Colleges, you will definitely get a seat because private colleges can also take admission at this score.
For more information about private colleges you can go through this link it will be helpful for you.

I am getting 571-580 marks in NEET UG 2022 in General Category can I get the top College in BDS course (Government) or shall I take a drop to prepare for MBBS colleges. And is doing BDS right in these times when there is a lack of job opportunities and how much can a person earn after BDS?
Hey Aspirant,
Firstly congratulations on such a decent performance in NEET 2022. As you have not mentioned your home state, I will take the example for last year's least cutoff for general category i.e., 612 in the Andaman and Nicobar (see https://medicine.careers360.com/articles/neet-cut-off-for-government-colleges ). As apparent, it's virtually not possible to get a govt. MBBS seat.
Now coming to BDS, it is pretty much in demand even in the current times, though the professionals faced issues during the pademic period, the profession has now again started blooming. Remember people are very much driven by their looks, the way the smile or the ordour of their mouth, these are very integral things that will never run out of demand. Coming to job security, a dentist with a fresh degree earns around Rs. 3-6 LPA which goes on increasing with experience. For more prospects of BDS visit this link: https://www.careers360.com/courses/bds-bachelor-of-dental-surgery
Regarding your dilemma of taking a drop, I would suggest you to give yourself a thought as you too can not completely put off leaving a MBBS degree (which again is an equally prestigious and high paying profession), your score is on borderline and definitely has a scope for improvement with more practice. So think mindly and choose what's best for you.
In case of any other queries feel free to reach out.
All the Best!
can I get mbbs/bams or bds in government or semi- government college with 250 marks as i belongs to st category?
Hey aspirant
For 250 mark, you can't get admission for Mbbs. You might get admission in deemed colleges but will be difficult to get admission in government and private medical colleges. According to previous year trend st candidate should score min 400+ to get admission for mbbs. Coming to bds you have a chance of getting admission for bds in private colleges. You also have a good chance for getting admission for bams . For more details refer below link. https://medicine.careers360.com/neet-college-predictor?utm_source=qna&utm_medium=neet_cp

can I get bds collage on 300marks in neet
Hello Aspirant,
Since you have not mentioned your Home state and category so considering them as Maharashtra according to your profile and General category respectively. If anything wrong then kindly correct me in the comment section below.
See it is quite difficult to help you with the exact list of colleges as the cut-offs keep on changing every year but yes we can provide you the list of colleges that you can get based on previous years cut-off data.
So according to the data, on such marks and category you have very less chances of getting BDS seat in any of the dental college of Maharashtra because in 2020 the closing cut-offs were above 300-305 marks for General candidates so you quite low chances to get BDS seat. according to previous year's cut-off.
You can check out previous year's cut-offs from the link given below :-

Note that the above prediction is made on the basis of previous year's cut-off and the cut-offs are bound to change every year depending upon various factors such as the number of candidates appearing in an examination, the number of candidates qualifying an examination, difficulty level of the paper, and so on.

250marks in neet belong to sc Cast . can i get BDS government college.
Hello,
According to an analysis of previous year's cutoffs, there are very few chances for a government BDS seat. For a SC candidate, your score must be between 300 and 450 to secure a government BDS seat. You can try again the following year, or you can participate in state-level counselling for a private BDS seat. From 250 marks in NEET 2022, you can secure a BDS seat at a private or public university.

Thank You
i got 250 marks in neet ug belongs to sc caste. can i get government bds collage?
Hello Aspirant
You have very very less chances of getting an M.B.B.S. seat in a government college with marks below 300. If you fall under the SC category and want to apply for medical school under the state quota, you must receive at least 350+ marks.

Better luck next time.
I am expecting a score of 523 in NEET 2022 EWS category with Expected Career360 Rank as 69331 with UP Domicile which Government Medical colleges can I get ? Be it (MBBS Or BDS Or BAMS)
Hi aspirant
See, at this score it is really difficult for you to fetch a government MBBS seat in the government medical colleges of UP.
Here is a list of the government dental colleges in UP along with their closing ranks
IMS BHU Dental, Varanasi 22500
KGMU Lucknow - King George's Medical University 22004
Dr. Ziauddin Ahmed Dental C ollege and Hospital,ALIGARH 22772
As you can see you have extremely low chances of fetching a government BDS seat in UP.
However you do have high chnaces of fetching a government seat in the following colleges in UP.
- Sri Lal Bahadur Shastri Smarak Government Ayurvedic College and Hospital, Handia
- Bundelkhand Government Ayurvedic College and Hospital, Jhansi
- Government Ayurved College and Hospital, Banda
- Ayurvedic College and Hospital, Sampurnanand Sanskrit Vishwa Vidyalaya, Varanasi
- CSJMU Kanpur - Chhatrapati Shahu ji Maharaj University
- State Ayurvedic college and Hospital, Lucknow
Hope this helps
All the best :)
Mere Neet Mai 150 score ho rahe hai ST Category se Rajasthan state kya mujhe koi government seat mil jayegi MBBS,BDS,BAMS,BHMS NURSING kuchh bhi course mai buss government seat honi chaiye or kisi bhi state mai ho koi dikkat nhi
HELLO
No, you cannot get a govt seat with 150 in neet, ST category too needs to get atleast 40 percentile to pass the exam. Although you can apply in private colleges like DY patil for pharmacy or bsc courses but sorry you won't get into a government college.
i have scored 500 plus in neet 2022 can i get a best college in bds goverment
Hi,
It is difficult to predict exactly because cut-offs changes from year to year and depends on many factors like number of applicants, questions difficulty level, seat matrix, students category.
You have not mentioned your Caste Category. So, I am providing you information considering you as general category.
For general category it is very difficult or least chances. For other categories in this marks BDS in govt is possible. Category and domicile will surely increase your chances for govt BDS seat.
however you may give a shot to careers360 college predictor tool to know about your probable college name,

which is better bams or bds for my future ??
You might be having a hard time, choosing between BDS and BAMS.
BDS is Bachelor of dental surgeries.
BAMS is Bachelor of Ayurvedic medicine and surgeries.
- Both courses are professional courses recognized by the government of India.
- Both courses are quite popular these days.
- Both concern with the field of medicine.
- Both courses are long courses. BDS is a 5 year long course including 1 year of compulsory clinical internship while BAMS is a 5.5 year long course comprising of 1 year of compulsory clinical internship.
BDS deals with the study of human teeth, surrounding structures, diseases affecting the soft and hard tissues of the mouth and diseases and abnormalities of oral and paraoral structures. It is an extensive study of the huam oral cavity. The oral cavity which appears quite small is a major part of the human body. It is in close association with the vital surrounding structures i.e the eyes, the ears, the brain, the nose and the neck. In fact, there is a specialization at the post graduation level i.e Oral and maxillofacial surgeon. It is a very interesting and exciting course as it quite practically valid. These days, dentists are in great demand as people are growing more conscious and aware of their oral health and hygiene. If this subject interests you, you can choose to pursue it. Also, it is a quite promising field.
Now, talking about BAMS, it completely deals with the Indian medical practices that were practised in the ancient times and are still in use today i.e AYURVEDA. It focuses on treating diseases and abnormalities with the herbs, plants and vegetables. It does not use drugs from a synthetic source.
This course is also quite popular as people are switching towards the Ayurvedic medicine both in India as well as abroad. Because of the less side effects of ayurvedic medicine and natural healing properties people are finding it to be a better alternative to allopathic medicine.
You can choose out of these two, based upon your interest. The future scope in both the courses is brilliant.
Hope this helps.
All the best:)
