For BDS ,if my neet score is around 400 out of 720 and i am general.can i get admission what was last cut off ?
Dear shafaque Fatima,
Yoh have a good score but this not enough for getting a seat in government bds college because cutoff is so high for general and Obc category as you have already known. It requires 550+ for general student to alot a seat for bds in government.
So,If you are Interested and you have enough budget then I will prefer you to go for Private bds college.
Either you can also try government B.A.M.S,B.U.M.S & B.H.M.S because with this you have higher chances in these courses to get a seat.
Other wise you will try one more chance, give your best and alot a BDS or MBBS Seat in next year.

is bds a good course? whats its scope in India? can i get a good salary?
hello aspirant,
YES, BDS is a very good and promising Course because it offers very good salary package and Career options. Bachelor of Dental Surgery BDS is one of the most promising career options in the medical industry after class 12th . It is a well designed undergraduate program which is quite equivalent to the MBBS in the medical educational field.
Furthermore, BDS candidates can adopt the teaching profession as a lecturer in any private or government dental institutes or colleges . Generally, fresh graduates who have a knack for teaching pursue careers in academics. They can also teach in state government colleges as a teaching faculty.
The salary range of a BDS will be minimum Rs. 80,000 to Rs. 1.5 lakh.
Further, to know more about the BDS course in full details, you can follow the below mentioned link to know more : https://www.careers360.com/courses/bds-bachelor-of-dental-surgery
I hope that this will help.
hello ! its vaishnavi somatkar in AFMC bds. course is there ? what is the fees ?
Hi Vaishnavi,
BDS is not offered at AFMC College in Pune. Anyone interested in pursuing MBBS must pass the NEET test and have completed 10 + 2 with a PCB stream from a recognized board with at least 60% marks. The Army College of Dental Sciences in Telangana, on the other hand, offers a BDS curriculum at the undergraduate level that is approved by the Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences in Warangal (Telangana). It is a non-minority, private, unaided institution.
Hope it helps!
Dear sir/Madam,when will the refund credited by drntruhs from Andhrapradesh, because I didnt got mbbs or bds seat at all the Counselling is also completed. So I want to know when will I get the security fee refund!
Hello Aspirant
If you did not get a seat in any of the counseling rounds then you are eligible for the refund.
But, you will have to wait because as you know the counseling procedure includes a lot of students and thus the time. So, after all of the rounds are over and seats which are allotted to the candidates are confirmed, a list of the students who are eligible for refund will me made.
You will get your refund 15-30 days after the list procedure, in the same account through which the payment was made.
Hope this helps.
